Journal Week 2

Saturday and Sunday (01/11-01/12) 6 hours

Last week I did not meet my hours, only getting 28 hours. Because of this, I decided to work on

some trainings the weekend after the first week (01/11-01/12). On Saturday, I worked on the

online trainings for 4 hours, and on Sunday I worked for 2 hours.

Monday (01/13) 9:00am-3:00pm; 6 hours

Monday was pretty slow because the forensic interviewer was in our Hampton office, so we

didn’t have anyone come into the office. I mainly just worked on the online trainings to get those

done so that I can have client interaction as soon as possible.

Tuesday (01/14) 9:00am-4:00pm; 7 hours

Tuesday morning we had our MDT, multidisciplinary team, meeting. This meeting happens once

a month, and everyone who is involved on any of the open cases come together to talk about

them. Some people include school social workers, the GBI, Baldwin and Milledgeville Sheriff’s

Departments, and DFCS.

Wednesday (01/15) 9:00am-3:00pm; 6 hours

Wednesday was another day full of online trainings. The trainings became very tedious and

somewhat exhausting. Being on the computer all day can be somewhat tiring.

Thursday (01/16) 9:00am-4:00pm; 7 hours

On Thursday, I was working on some more trainings. I never thought I would need this much

training, but I was trying hard to finish my trainings so that I could be ready for our move next

week. I ended up finishing my trainings by the end of the day which was really exciting because

now I can begin to have client contact.

Friday (01/17) 9:00am-4:00pm 7 hours

Friday was a somewhat slow day. We spent a lot of the day putting together boxes to prepare for

the move next week. We also got to watch an old interview from back in August, which is still

an open case.

Hours: 39 hours
