3.2.2 Understand specific information and details of short simple texts

4.3.1 Use capital letters, full stops and question marks appropriately in
guided writing at sentence level.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to:
i. Read a simple text and draw a picture according to the specific
information given about physical appearances.
ii. Rearrange words to form 5 simple sentences using the correct
punctuation marks.

*ACTIVITIES : : 1. Recap the vocabulary about physical appearance.
i. PRE-LESSON 2. Pupils are given a few pictures and they are required to describe the
pictures in groups.
ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT 3. Pupils are given a task sheet.
Lesson Delivery : 4. Pupils do the task sheet:

7. Second task: Rearrange the words to form sentences.
8. Pupils read the given scrambled words then rearrange the words to
