MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 11, 2020

OPENING:
The regular meeting of the Barra Small Fishing Association (BASFA) was called to
order at 10:00 am on March 11, 2020 in Fisheries office, P-1, Brgy.16, Gingoog City by Pres.
Jereal M. Desabille and Mrs. Eleonor G. Castro one of representative of Bfar.

Approval of Minutes:
Basfa Overview:
Discussing what project Basfa was granted by Government namely,
pumpboat,bobo and Fishcage this was explain by Mrs. Eleonor G. Castro together with Mr.
Calixtro C. Mamaran. To give overview of the association to new and old member and to be
grateful to succeed this project without much funding and how the budget shorten due to
prices increase of the items because the said project was granted in BUB year 2014 and due to
changes the project was fully deploy on year September 2019.

Fish Cage Report and Expenses:

Mrs Eleonor G. Castro also report the expenses and balance of
the fish Cage the items list was been distributed and also attach.
Reorganize and Election of officer:
As reorganizing the association Mr. President discuss the previous member who died
in the verge of helping this project to work out was suggested that after five years (5) they will
still have their share to be given to his family and majority approve the motion.
New protocol on how to be a member should pay 100 pesos for membership fee and
10 pesos monthly dues and as reorganize the association old and new member should follow as
this motion and majority approve.
As the Office of Barangay 16 needs a list of Set of Officer of Barra Small fishing
Association on that day the spot Election was made but the nomination will be start at
Treasurer as majority approve.
Mr. President open the table for nomination starting with treasurer and beyond.
Jess Peligrino nominated by Mr. President and Henry Bulay-og nominated by Geoffrey A.
Canada close by Zeryco Desabille and severally seconded and start for voting and Henry Bulay-
og got 6 votes and Jess Peligrino majority won the votes.
As treasurer will have a 500 cash bond or cash on hand which majority suggested. And so on
follows and attached.
New Agenda:
Need To make the project start because we still need to pay 100 pesos per day
(24/7) to caretaker to fish cage and requesting all the member should attend on March 15 2020
6-10am and 3-5pm to help and cleaning drive.

Adjournment:
Meeting was adjourned by Pres. Jereal M. Desabille at 12.01pm. The next Monthly Meeting is
First Thrustday of the Month but since the April 9 was black thrusday so the meeting will be
schedule on April 16, 2020.
