Objectives/Agenda :

 Understand the significance of the SIM

 Use SIM as an aid to increase learners level of

understanding

 Know the Parts of Strategic Intervention Material

 Submit a hard copy of their SIM in Science

Highlights of the Activity (in narrative or bullet form)

 SIM refers to teaching aid introduces into teaching methods to

stimulate the activity of the students and thereby increasing their level

of understanding.

 Strategic Intervention Material is believed to be an effective strategic

teaching aid for teachers in carrying out objectives on least learned

lessons. It is a module that contains different kinds of activity used to

motivate and stir up the attention and interest of the pupils.

  Using their 3rd Quarter Item Analysis in Science participants will

identify the least learned skills in Science as basis in making their SIM

 Guided activity participants start making their own SIM in Science.

 Participants finished the output in hard copy.
