TOPIC : Technology Integration and Innovative Approaches

PRELIMINARIES:

Technology has the ability to enhance relationships between teachers and

students. When teachers effectively integrate technology into subject areas, teachers grow into
roles of adviser, content expert, and coach. Technology helps make teaching and learning more
meaningful and fun.

MEETING PROPER:

The MAPEH Area conducted its fourth SLAC session last September 17, 2019 at the
Grade 7 Humility classroom at exactly3:00 in the afternoon. Attendance was first initiated
followed by the introduction of the session by Mr.Raymond Jubasan. The opening prayer was
led Ms. ZairaBagayas, followed by the roll call of MAPEH teachers.
The session opened with the topic of Mr. Raymond Jubasan. One of the topic on that day
is Technology Integration and Innovative Approaches. He emphasized the importance of
technology on the integration in demo teaching. The use of technology have been an essential
tool to teach in the classroom.
Generalization of learning by faculty representative by grade level was done after the
entire SLAC session.

TOPIC :Table of Specification / Test Construction Workshop

PRELIMINARIES:
Item Analysis is an important tool to increase test effectiveness. Each items contribution is
analyzed and assessed. It is the act of analyzing student responses to individual exam questions
with the intention of evaluating exam quality.  The quality of individual items is assessed by
comparing students' item responses to their total test scores.

MEETING PROPER:
The MAPEH Area conducted its second SLAC session last July 17, 2019 at the grade 7
Humility classroom at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon. Attendance was first initiated followed by
the introduction of the session by Mr. Jimboy Onaliban. The opening prayer was led Mrs.
Jessica Cabusao, followed by the roll call of all the MAPEH teachers of San Francisco NHS.
The facilitator talked about the “Table of Specification and Test Construction Workshop”
Through his talk, teachers were updated on how to prepare test questions and how to
administer quarterly examinations. He discussed also about the updates on the Preparation of
Table of Specifications (TOS). He gave teachers a sample of an automated table of specification
and how to use it. He also clearly explained the rationale behind the use of TOS.
Right after the session, participants were asked to critique each other’s test papers and
TOS. Afterwards, there was an open forum. Meeting adjourned at 4:30Pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 in the afternoon.
