OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR
AN ORDER CREATING THE ONE-STOP SHOP FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF LCOALLY STRANDED
INVIDUALS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MENDEZ-NUÑEZ,
PROVINCE OF CAVITE

WHEREAS, considering the impact of COVID 19 pandemic on global safety and travel, the
movement between and within countries have been heavily reduced to curb the spread of the
infection. The reduction in mobility as a result of the measures imposed by the national and local
governments to contain the spread of the virus have inadvertently created unintended
consequences in cross-border movements that need to be addressed.

WHEREAS, the National Task Force Against COVID 19 Number 2020-02 dated May 13, 2020 and
the Department of the Interior and Local Government Memorandum Circular 2020-087 provided
the guidelines following a systemic and coordinated approach and the duties of the Local
Government Officials in facilitating the return of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) to their
respective residences;

WHEREAS, the DILG Office of the Undersecretary for Peace and Order issued and Advisory dated
June 1, 2020 ordering the creation of One-Stop Shop (OSS) for the Management of Locally Stranded
Individuals in the City and Municipal levels.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ATTY. FREDDERICK A. VIDA MUNICIPAL MAYOR, Mendez-Nuñ ez, Cavite by
virtue of the power vested in me by the law, do hereby order:
Section 1. ORGANIZATION AND COMPOSITION OF THE ONE-STOP SHOP FOR THE
MANAGEMENT OF LOCALLY STRANDED INDIVIDUALS (OSS-LSI)
There shall be an organized One-Stop Shop for the Management of LSI in the Municipality of
Mendez-Nuñ ez and shall be composed of the following:

Lead : ANNE KIMBERLY P. BABAAN, MLGOO and LSI/ROF Desk officer

Members : PCPT FRANCO M. ATIENZA, Chief of Police
DR. ROSALINA N. VERIDIANO, Municipal Health Officer
GEMMA C. DERL MUNDO, MSWDO
ROMEO C. CHAVEZ, Executive Assistant for Peace and Order
JEFFREY T. ALMANZOR II, MDRRMO

Section 2. Location of the OSS-LSI

The Mendez-Nuñ ez OSS-LSI One-Stop Shop shall be located in the Municipal Quadrangle
and shall be managed by the DILG MLGOO as the OFW and LSI Desk officer.

Section 3 . Duties and Responsibilities

The Mendez-Nuñ ez OSS-LSI shall perform the following duties and reposnsibilities:

 1. Provide prompt and efficient assistance to all LSIs within Mendez-Nuñ ez, particularly in

securing Medical Clearance Certificate (MCC) and Travel OF THE

(TA);
2. Formulate and adhere to a flowchart for the localized processing

in the LGU website and social media
account;
4. Coordinate with the Punong Barangays OFFICE

dissemination about
the One-Stop Shop and to provide assistance to the LSI to connect with the OSS-LSI for
the processing of requirements;
5. Ensure public health protocols are being observed in the OSS-LSI, such as wearing of
facemasks and social distancing; and
6. Shall report to the Municipal Task Force Against Covid-19 the number of LSIs assisted
including the number of MCC and TA issued;

Section 3. EFFECTIVITY
This order shall take effect immediately.
