Title: facing the Virtual Classroom with Confidence

Objectives:
At the end of the training, the teachers should be able to:
1. Familiarize themselves with Google Calendar, Google Classroom,
Google Meet, and Zoom
2. Utilize the different online teaching tools in delivering classes
effectively.

Duration: 5 days
Start Date: July 6
End Date: July 10

Training Proper:
The teachers are to watch video tutorials covering the following key areas:
1. Google Classroom (7 parts)
- Google Classroom is the primary tool of SMILE in managing
classroom activities and grades
2. Google Calendar
- SMILE uses google calendar to have a seamless scheduling of
activities between different google applications
3. Google Meet and Zoom
- These two video calling services are the most accessible platform
for teachers and students

Evaluation:
1. Teachers are to demonstrate how to use the different online tools by
creating sections, classroom activities, and homework
2. Teachers are to show how to schedule a meeting, and invite their
pupils through Google Meet or Zoom.
3. A dry run of online class with their pupils
Post Evaluation and Reporting
The training is designed to answer concerns regarding online classes.
The teachers are expected to orient the parents and pupils about the necessary
steps and applications needed for the online class.

Training Report for the Parents

Through the training, the teachers are adequately equipped with the
skills needed in delivering quality education online. The following online tools are
chosen for their effectiveness and simplicity which is more user-friendly compared
to other tools online.
