With One Last Kiss

Your family told me you should marry someone else. They told me that there was a good and safe
man who wanted to marry you. I heard one of your brother's say it to me but I thought maybe it was a dream.
How could they not want us together? It made me crazy thinking about it.
But here I am.. At your Grave... And still so young... Here lies my love... My wife...
But somehow your beauty brings light to this tomb. I feel so strange... As if some strange power has come over
me...
Is this how someone feels before their death? A strange sort of happiness. Because I know we will be
together again. Death may have taken you but your beauty lives on. Your beauty is more powerful than his
black magic. Fight him my love... He wants to take you from me. Has he fallen in love with you? He can't
have you!
I will stay with you. I will not leave your side. Never again. This is the place where I will rest. Forever
by your side. And be rid of this weak flesh that keeps me away from you. I must have one more look at you
before I close my eyes forever. I must hold you one more time.
And before my last kiss I must drink to our love. (drinks from a small bottle)
Oh... That's good.
I feel closer to you now. And with one last kiss... I come to you... I'm coming, my love... I'm coming.

I am not of your world but I know everything about you.  Because everywhere I go in the universe, everyone is
the same. Everyone is dreaming and wishing on stars. Everyone is seeking a better life for themselves or for
others. 

And that's how the universe is divided.  Those who want for themselves... and those who want for others. 
What do you want?  What type of life form are you?  Are you here to get hold of the most wonderful thing you
can imagine and hang on to it as long as possible?  Or do you want to leave the universe a little better off than
it was before you were in existence?  We all chose whether we know it or not.  We all decide to give or take. 

And sooner or later we all learn what is at the center of the universe.  Is it you or is it me?  Or is there some
other incredible secret waiting for us at the core of it all?

Oration

Mechanics/Guidelines

1. The piece shall adapt and should focus on positive values.

2. The time limit for oration is 5 minutes. One point from every minute shall be deducted from
undertime or overtime.
3. The contestants can move about on stage and gestures as he/she fits but focus is on facial
expression and voice.
4. The use of props, sound effects, ordinary and unsual pictures and microphones shall not be
allowed.
5. Costumes should be appropriate to the story.

Mechanics/Guidelines: POSTER MAKING CONTEST

1. This activity will be participated by the bona fide Grade 7-12 students of San Antonio School;
2. There shall be two (2) entries per year level;
3. The entries shall meet/satisfy the following requirements, viz:
The poster must revolve around the theme for Buwan ng Wika 2017;
Entries should be drawn on the Spot and the contestants should bring their own materials
and supplies;
Entries must be drawn on a 24” x 36” illustration board as canvass with the name of the
participant and the grade level and section he/she represents pasted at the back of the
board;
The poster should only be drawn using crayons, oil pastels, coloring pencils, water color,
poster paints and markers;
4. No coach/class adviser interference is allowed at the duration of the contest proper;
5. The decision from the Board shall be final and non-appealable;
6. The winner/s will be identified for the 1 st, 2nd and 3rd places.
