Lesson: Practice 2

Practice: Create an exploded view of an assembly of blocks.

• Create an exploded view animation.

• Use Transform Components.

1. Upload the file “Building Block Assembly –

Animation” and open.

2. Navigate to the Animation Workspace.

3. Select Transform > Transform Components.

 4. Move the top row of bricks up a distance of
50mm and rotate the view to “FRONT” and fit to
screen.

5. Click in the canvas area to deselect the bricks

while still on the Transform Components tool.
Move the play head in the timeline to 6s and
move the next row of bricks up 37.5mm.

6. Click in the canvas area to deselect the bricks

while still on the Transform Components tool.
Move the play head in the timeline to 10s and
move the next row of bricks up 25mm.

NOTE: You may want to temporarily minimize the

timeline to select the bricks or stop recording the view.

7. Play the animation and save the file.
