ACTIVITY: WHAT YOU KNOW

Instructions:
 Group the class into four.
 They will be given envelopes with writing materials inside.
 Within 3 minutes, let them illustrate on a cartolina all the
learnings they had with regards to CIRCLE.
 After 3 minutes, let somebody on the group present their outputs
for a maximum time of 2 minutes.
 Ask the students to define the different parts of a circle using their
illustration. Facilitate and supplement on their answers.
 Ask the students, is there a relationship between the central angle and
inscribe angle with regards to their arcs?
 Introduce the relationship of central angle and its arc, inscribed angle and
its arc.

C. Application/Generalization/Values Integration
ACTIVITY: PAIR AND SHARE
Instructions: Answer the following questions within 7 minutes. You can write
your answers or you can just share it orally when the time is up.

1. Do you think circles are useful in our daily lives? In what particular
Situations?

2. Draw a radius and a diameter separately. Their intersection/vertex
measures 90 ° . What is the measure of its intercepted arcs?
3. Draw a chord that connects the radius and the diameter. The intercepted
arc of the radius and the chord measures 60 ° . What is the measure of the
inscribed angle?
