To HIP HOP- A Guide to become a Better Artist

and Dancer

• What is HipHop today?

§ Hip Hop Dance refers not only to street dance styles made popular
in the 1970s, or the fierce dancing we see in music videos,
instagram and on TikTok, but also now describes an entire culture
of morals and values within its community.
§ In addition, HipHop also refers to a stylistically rhythmic and
responsive type of choreography that not only evokes emotion,
but also allows a lens into the complexity of a song through
visualizing movement.
§ Though Mostly associated with Rap Music, hip hop has evolved to
be performed along side things like pop and even Classical music.
