VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CAROLING CONTEST

Mechanics of the Game:

1. The contest is open for the students who are residing at Brgy. Day-asan,
Cagniog, Balibayon, San Isidro and Orok.
2. Members of participating group must not be less than five (5) and not
more than ten (10) members and currently enrolled at Day-asan National
High School regardless of their grade and section and coming from same
barangay only.
3. The participating barangay can send a maximum of two (2) entries following the
same number of members.
4. Creative and artistic materials, props and costumes are encouraged following
safety protocols such as social distancing and wearing of face shields.
5. The participating group should video graph their performance with not
exceeding six (6) minutes of the overall performance including the introduction
of the group.
6. Professional videographers and professional video editors are not allowed to
cover and edit the video; only participants should do the video editing while
trainers are allowed to train the members but not allowed to join the contest.
7. The group may perform any Christmas carols or medley, English, Filipino or in
any language.
8. Musical instruments are allowed to be used in their own provision.
9. The final contest piece or the recorded video must be in a MP4 format. It should
be sent at monreynard.cortes@deped.gov.ph or at the Facebook Account of Is Is
Gee Day-asan (messenger).
10. The participants are not be allowed to upload a copy of the video until the Is Is
Gee Day-asan Facebook will post the video entries.
11. The deadline of submission of entry is until December 12, 2020; 12:00
midnight.

12. Once posted, number of Heart Reactions, Views and Shares will be counted
until December 18, 2020; 12 midnight.
13. The winners will be announce at December 19, 2020 through the Official
Facebook Post Announcement of Is Is Gee Day-asan Facebook Account.
14. Only a group representative shall claim their prize in the school after the
announcement.

Criteria for Judging:

Group Voice Quality 35%
The group produces nice and pleasant quality of
voice in the recorded video such as blending,
harmony, tone and intonation
Originality and Creativity 15%
The group should perform with an original
concept or theme of the piece.
Props and Costumes 20%
The group may use props and costumes suit for
the theme portrayed and is pleasant to the
audiences’ eyes.
They can use creative designs for their costumes
and face shields.
Videography 20%
The piece should be clear and quality as of voice
and visual with unnecessary advance visual
effects. It could be shoot at different spot of their
choice.
Social Media Votes 10%
Highest number of Heart reactions, shares and
views.

Mechanics:
1. The contest will be participated by a male student who are currently enrolled
at Day-asan National High School.
2. A section shall send one (1) participant only.
3. The candidate will take and send one (1) best photo wearing Christmas
Costumes with facemasks or face shield.
4. The candidate shall choose of the scenery of the background of the photo.
5. The photo will be sent at Is Is Gee Day-asan Facebook Account (messenger)
until December 12, 2020; 12 midnight.
6. The photo must be clear and in high resolution. Professional photo editor is
allowed.
7. The candidate is not be allowed to upload a copy of the photo until the Is Is
Gee Day-asan Facebook will post the photo entries of the sections.
8. Once posted, number of Heart Reactions and Shares will be counted until
December 18, 2020; 12:00 midnight.
9. The winner will be announce at December 19, 2020 through the Official
Facebook Post Announcement of Is Is Gee Day-asan Facebook Account.

currently enrolled at Day-asan National High School.
2. The contestant shall take (1) best photo of their family helping the learner
answering the learner’s module and must be taken at their home.
3. The photo will be sent at Is Is Gee Day-asan Facebook Account (messenger)
until December 12, 2020; 12 midnight.
4. The photo must be clear and in high resolution. Professional photo editor is
allowed.
5. The participant is not be allowed to upload a copy of the photo until the Is Is
Gee Day-asan Facebook will post the photo entries of the sections.
