Good day!
The Junior Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (JPIIE-UBBC), would like to request your
good office to allow us to conduct the online eSportsFest: Building a better community
through distant teamwork to be hosted by Junior Philippine Institute of Industrial
Engineers (JPIIE) –University of Batangas, Batangas Chapter via Google Meet, Facebook
live and IEba Ka Youtube Channel. The said event will be from February 27 and March 6 and 7,
2021 at 8 o’clock in the morning. A registration fee of Php 20.00 per student for all the event will
be collected by the organization.
This online “Sports Fest” is beneficial for the students of Institute of Industrial Engineers as this
would be of great help in order to enhance their team unity and showcase their talents not just in
the organization’s events but also throughout the region in future. This is also to look for the
next qualified contenders for future events that will be handled by the organization.

1. The participants of the event will be the members of JPIIE-UBBC. Some segment of the
event is to team up students per section despite the distance that has been brought by
COVID-19 Pandemic. This will also ensure that students will still have the ability and the
chance to know each other even deeper and draw interest to the profession they have
chosen no matter how far they are from each other.
2. The amount to be collected as registration fee will be suggested to be divided to each
students that is part of the section where they belong. The amount will also be used to
provide prizes for the winning team but each student will only be expected to contribute
less than 20.00PHP to be collected through GCASH as agreed by the many. It will also
be ensured that the amount is proposed not imposed to the per section representative. If
any objections will be made by them or any of the students, the organization will be open
for some changes suggested by them.
3. The segment of the event with anime theme is listed below:

MOBILE GAMES: This segment is to be handled by our VP Chrsitian Lazatin, VP

Ramon Jaime Pagdonsolan and VP Leo Tumambing.
a. Mobile Legends Bang Bang
This is a per section competition.

NON-ACADEMIC: To be handled by VP Shayla De Grano, VP Prince Ivon

Hernandez and Mr. Errol Jay Castillo, Committee on Finance
a. TikTok Competition
A pre-recorded video related to the theme and the objective of the event will be the
competing piece per section. It will be graded according the following:
 Uniqueness
 Relation to the event theme and objective
 Video Quality and audio quality
 Video Editing
 Entertainment Quality

b. eSinging Contest
Each section will have equal chances to join by making a pre-recorded video with
only solo or duet entry. Singers for a duet entry is not allowed to make video together
or in one place at the same time. The video must be evident that has been or taken
indoors ONLY. It will be graded according the following:
 Song Choice (Theme relation is a plus)
 Voice Quality
 Video Quality and audio quality
 Video Editing
 Entertainment Quality
 Creativity
c. Search For the first IE’s Mr. and Ms. eSportFest 2020-2021
 In general, there will be three categories: The School Uniform Category, The
Organizational Shirt category, and The Casual Wear.
 Pictures and indoor ramp pre-recorded video while the contestants are in
their casual wear will be sent 9 days prior to the proposed date and will be
uploaded to Facebook 7 days before the awarding excluding the video of the
ramp.
 Awards are categorized into Major and Minor awards.
 A compiled video of the ramp will be played on the Final day of the event and
at the same day the Q and A will occur.

ACADEMIC: This is to be handled by Executive President Walter Reyes, VP

Lewinsky Gan and VP Nicole Javier
a. Quiz Show
 This is to be conducted via google meet. The contenders must secure a
stable internet connection to avoid delays. A quiz master will also be part of
the event to make sure that the questions are correct and rules are followed
accordingly.
 The segment is divided into: Easy, Medium, Hard and Difficult Category.
  Easy round will have 10 questions, 1 point each. Only top 6 highest scorer
will be considered going to the next round.
 Medium round will have 8 questions, 3 points each. Only top 4 highest scorer
will be considered going to the next round.
 Hard round will have 6 questions, 5 points each. Only top 2 highest scorer will
be considered going to the next round.
 Difficult round will have 5 questions, 10 points each. The highest scorer will
be held the winner for this segment.
 Tie breaker questions will be prepared for each level.
 An usherette per section representative will be assigned to tally answers and
scores
b. Case Study Competition
This segment is to identify and enhance the potential of students in problem solving
using analytical and tactical skills they possess. This will also introduce them to
some cases they are about to face in the future that resembles the profession they
have chosen.
 The case and the format for the final output will be provided several days
prior to the competition.
 A final paper as output is required to be submitted for evaluation.
 An audio visual presentation will also be required to be submitted where in 4
members of the team is explaining their output.
 They will be graded according to: The effectiveness and concreteness of the
proposed solution, the format of the output, delivery of information or
presentation, and projection of the presenters.
c. Graphic Design Competition
This segment of the event is to enhance the creativity of the members and
also improve their bonds be stronger despite the distance brought by the
COVID-19 Pandemic.
There will be 3 categories:
 Organizational Shirt Designing Contest 30%
 ID Lace 30%
 Logo Making Contest 30%
The remaining 10% will be coming from the reacts earned from social
media websites for a total of 100%
Each piece will be uploaded to Facebook 7 days prior to the awarding day.
