How does the article demonstrate the importance of technological innovation to promote
development in Colombia?
Innovation as a basis for economic and social development

According to the 2005 OECD Oslo Manual, innovation refers to the 'introduction of a new,
or significantly improved, product (good or service), a process, a new marketing method, or
a new organizational method in internal company practices, organization of the workplace
or external relations.

Innovation helps the development of the country in many areas, one of them in the
economic activities of a company improving the quality of service, in education,
technology and innovation in Colombia growing a clear example is the UNAD that is in
almost a territory efficiently during this pandemic that is hitting the world. Quedo
demonstrated how important technology and innovation are in education.
We find that CTS is presented as a broad space for study and research of an
interdisciplinary nature and also develops an innovative educational proposal of a general
nature (Acevedo, 1997; Vázquez, 1999).

Innovation acquired great importance in the world, but in Colombia there is a lack of
investment in innovation in universities, educational institutions, government entities cte.
Conclusion

In this activity, the course was recognized, the profile was updated, the forum and Skype
participated, getting to know each other with the tutors and partner. In addition, there was a
reading and a summary of the article about the importance of technological innovation to
promote development in Colombia. We acquired knowledge of the course and its processes.
