We are pleased to announce that The Lexicon International School,Wagholi will be organizing a
Virtual Sports Day for the students of Classes PP – 12.

The Virtual Sports Day has been planned in a way to provide every student an opportunity to
participate and exhibit their skills in sports / games. An Orientation for students and parents will
be conducted on the 29th of January 2021 during the online sessions.

The Preliminary round will be conducted from 30th January to 3rd February 2021 during a zoom
session to shortlist participants for the final rounds. The decision of the teacher will be final and
will not be altered under any circumstances.
The Final round will be held on 5th February 2020. Please find below the details of the game and
the safety guidelines for the same.

We request parents to kindly record their wards performance and keep the unedited version of
video for verification if required.

 Class: III
 Games: Ball toss challenge
 Equipments: Plastic ball (medium size), Notebook
 Dress Code: Any comfortable sports wear
 Duration: 30 sec
 Guidelines:
 Children will hold the notebook in one hand and with the other hand he/she
will throw the plastic ball in the air and will start tossing the ball with the help
of the notebook.
 The one who will do the most number of tosses will be the winner.
 Safety Measures: 1. Warming up is mandatory for each child before starting the activity.
2. Playing area should be non- slippery
3. Playing area should be clean
4. The child should wear sports shoes
5. The book should be light weight.
 Rubrics: Maximum no. of Tosses, presentation, interest
Ground Rules:

As it is an online event, we hope to ensure that every student gets a chance to participate and
compete in the event. Kindly note the following ground rules to ensure discipline and also to
maintain the decorum of the activity.

i. Activity should be completed in the given time frame as instructed by the teacher.
ii. The count should be immediately put in the chat window during the prescribed time
period
iii. Any information or count given after the given time frame will not be accepted.
iv. The chat window will be disabled immediately after the prescribed time.
v. Parents to record their wards performance and keep the unedited version of video for
verification if required.
vi. No special appointments will be given for students. Kindly ensure participation is done
in the time given
