CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AFFIDAVIT

I, BUAGAS S. CUBI, of legal age, Filipino, married, and presently

residing at Sitio Tumbaga, Brgy. Sabanal, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat,
after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, depose and say:

1. That I am filing this complaint against DANIEL BUGTONG and

TOTO MAING;

2. That on 02 February 2021 around 8 in the morning at Purok

Tumbaga, Brgy. Sabanal, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat, while I was
drinking my coffee, I saw Eddie O. Lebeg arrived at his sister’s
house to have breakfast. After few minutes, Toto Maing came and
shouted at me that we will have to work for the road under Cash-
for-work program of the government. I went outside our house and
talked to him stating that they should suspend the work considering
that the Brgy. Treasurer, Daniel Bugtong, had no authority to initiate
the work;

3. That, however, I was surprised when Toto Maing got furious and
stated in vernacular, “Tarantado ka! Ya ka eg hawid kanami ipatuloy ke
sa galbek!” (Stupid! Do not interfere on us, we will continue our
work!”) and add “Baale ko, sa baalan ko! Baalan kema sa nami baalan!”
(You do your thing and we will do our thing on you!)

4. That after he said those words, he left and I also went inside my
house with confusion of what he just said;

 5. That, around 11 in the morning, Eddie Lebeg arrived and warned
me that Toto Maing and Daniel Bugtong threatened to kill me in a
meeting at the latter’s house. Attached is the copy of the Affidavit
of Witness of Eddie O. Lebeg to prove the threat of Toto Maing and
Daniel Bugtong against my life as Annex “A” and “A-1”;

6. That, I was so scared for my life considering the earlier statement of

Toto Maing that they would do their thing on me. I immediately
planned to leave and contacted a person to get me and bring me at
Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat;

7. That, I left Kalamansig around 6 in the evening of 03 February 2021

with fear that anyone might kill me on my way;

8. That, I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness and

the veracity of the above-facts and circumstances and to file this
complaint against DANIEL BUGTONG and TOTO MAING for
GRAVE THREAT or any appropriate crime under the Revised Penal
Code or Special Law.
