Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Barangay Tanod in

Crime Prevention in Municipality of Agoncillo, Batangas.

Specifically, this will answer the following:

1. What are the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of ;

1.1. age;

1.2. sex;

1.3. educational attainment ;and

1.4. civil status?

2. How do the respondents assess the effectiveness on the perception

of Barangay Tanod in crime prevention in terms of:

2.1. conduct of surveillance and patrolling;

2.2. conduct of proper arrest; and

2.3. conduct of traffic?

3. Are there significant difference on the respondent’s assessment on

the above mentioned variable when grouped according to profile

variable?
