METHODOLOGY

This portion comprises the following: Research Design, Research Locale, Research

Respondents, Research Instrument, Data Gathering Procedure and Ethical Consideration.

Research Design

This study was guided by the Correlational Research Design. This design is a quantitative

research design that tries to determine if two or more variables have a significant relationship.

That is, a similarity in pattern of scores between two variables not a difference in their means.

This method will be utilized in the study through conducting a survey where both interview and

distribution of survey questionnaires to the respondents to collect series of information about

flexible learning modalities and teaching strategies of Don Juan Dela Cruz Central Elementary

School.

Research Locale

The Study will be recorded at Don Juan Dela Cruz Central Elementary School. The

school was located at J. Dela Cruz St. Toril, Davao City, in Region X1 of the Philippines. The

public school had a population of more than four thousand pupils, and more or less a hundred

teachers, the researchers decide to focus on the teachers of Don Juan Dela Cruz National

Elementary School. The researchers have chosen these school for conducting this study because

of these reasons: The Don Juan Dela Cruz Central Elementary School is a prime source of new

students for the Davao Central College every year especially in grade seven; Second, the Don
Juan Dela Cruz Elementary School is located at a very practical location being only several feet

away from the Davao Central College; Third, is the fact that the public elementary school has a

booming population .This study will be conducted in Don Juan Dela Cruz Central Elementary

School located at Juan Dela Cruz Street Toil, Davao City. The course of this study started at the

early April of 2021, and will end on June of 2021. The survey will start on______and is expected

to end on________

Research Respondents

The respondents of this research are the Teacher’s of Don Juan Dela Cruz Central

Elementary School. In the fact that they are blooming and producers of quality graduates

students in toril district. The researchers chose a teacher from the mentioned school to learn

about their innovations in terms of flexible learning modalities and teaching strategies amidst

covid 19 pandemic.

Research Instrument

Group administered questionnaires were used as a research instrument in the study. This

instrument was used by the respondents in answering a structured sequence of questions.

Traditionally, questionnaires were administered in group settings for convenience. It was

consisted of ____ questions and it undergone to the process of validation for comments &

suggestions.

Data Gathering Procedure

Data gathering was guided by the following procedures in order to ensure system & order:

The researcher will give a letter to the principal and to the guidance office of Don Juan Dela

Cruz Central Elementary School for the approval to conduct the study.

The researcher will give a letter of consent to the teachers as the respondents of the researchers

as sign of respect.
As soon as the respondents will have the reply slip of the content letter that allows them to

participate in the research, the researchers will start to get the necessary information to and give

the questionnaire to the respondents.

ETHICAL CONSIDERATION.

Considering that our respondents are the teachers , the researchers will give a letter to the

school administrator to ask permission to conduct this study. The researchers had also prepared a

letter asking permission together with a slip that will be returned with the answer.

The researchers had also taken into consideration the confidentiality of the respondents.

We have also stated in the letter that their privacy and identity would remain confidential and

will use the data for research purposes only.
