have it only three times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and
Fridays
Paul : How often do you have Maths?
Mary : Maths. Hmm... Mondays and Tuesdays. No, wait. Fridays, too.

Paul : What about PE, Mary? Do you like it?
Mary : Not really. PE is boring. What’s your favourite subject, Paul?
Paul : I like all the subjects except Maths.
Mary : Science is hard.
Paul : Yes, but I’m really good at it. I’m good at English, Social

Pre-lesson: Ask pupils to refer to their timetables and
ask them what subjects they would like to have
more hours of and what subjects they’d like less
hours of. Encourage pupils to have a discussion
their groups and justify.
Lesson delivery:
1.Pupils refer to textbook page 16 and 17.
2.A few questions are asked to check pupils’
comprehension of the story.
3. Pupils transfer information into table.
4. Pupils count and write how often the Bahasa
Subject in the table provided.
Post-lesson: Pupils share their experiences on
walking into the wrong classroom or other similar
experiences.

I am Aqilah and I’m from Year 4 Ibnu Sina. I go to school five times a week. I
learn four subjects every day. I have English every day except on Sundays. I have
Maths three times a week. I have it on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On
Mondays and Wednesdays, I have Arts and PE. My favourite subject is Social
Studies. I have it two times a week. It is on Sundays and Thursdays. I have Bahasa
Malaysia five times a week. I have Science on Sundays and Tuesdays.
