MEDIUM OF LANGUAGE
When I was in high school (SMK 1 Tengaran), my teacher often used audio and visual
media such as projetors and speakers. Because I am a student majoring in computer networking
engineering (TKJ), audio-visual media is needed to deliver the material. Moreover, students of
my age live in the industrial revolution 4.0 which certainly has something to do with digital
technology, unlike in the past, teachers only conveyed material verbally. And this audio-visual
media is very important because it is very helpful in understanding certain materials, especially
since I go to a vocational school so I really need it like the steps for workomg on a project,
because here we are required to be able to go directly to field of work, not just material.
Every day even when we are vocational learning we always use a computer lab that is
equipped with complete facilies by the school wivh contains computers, CPU, sound, projector
headsets and othe information technology tools. My school is is also very up to date with the
times, especially since I am majoring in TKJ, students are also required to develop ideas that
aresuitable for this digital area. It can can be said that we are very ready to keep up with future
developments so that we don’t lag behind in time.
We also often use computers before going into field to design a network using
applications, so that when the prder of a network is correct we can immediately assemble it
without fear of mistakes. But here there is a shortage for our schoolwork, we still collect
manuals, such as using flash drives, paper, etc. even though we are in the informatics
environment, the collection of tasks is still manuals. In my opinion, media such as GC (google
classroom) is very important ro use when I was at school, maybe now I use GC media because of
online learning conditions, but but it had not been implemented before. I hope that when wee
meet face – to – face, learning using GC is still applied so that teachers don’t have to bother
giving assignments and assessing manually, because it has advantages in addition to being time
efficient, we also keep up with the times, and using GC can increases xhool grades, for weakness
it is also very difficult found. And student will be more able to follow era of the industrial
revolution 4.0 which is notnot behind the times. And ready to fight in the future. This makes the
learning process take place continuously without the boundaries of space and time. If learning
used to be only centered on the teacher, now the teacher is only source of learning besides the
internet, the environment, books, and others. Because one of the effective learning media in
supportingthe success of a learning process is only using audio visuals. Because it can display
sound an =d images so it creates and interesting learning for student.
