In these time of
pandemic it is hard to
monitor pupils especially
if the pupil is a
struggling pupil. The
ILMP helped me and the
pupil to monitor and
track their
performance. This made
intervention strategies
easier.

I gave pupils hard


cop of reading
materials so that
they have
something to read.
I gave them ample
time to study and
read. I usually call
them through
Messenger or
Google Meet.

Making a lesson exemplar for the new normal needs to be well


planned it should cater the needs of the pupils whatever are the
circumstances are. I made this exemplar to fit the different
needs of the pupils. The activities especially the task in the
lesson can be both for modular or online modality. I also took
into consideration the LSEN pupils. Using various activities with
the help of home facilitators can make the learning happen.

Aside from the various activities needed the exemplar should


include activities that will let the pupils to be engaged in ICT. It is
a known fact that not all learners are capable of accessing the
internet but the simple use of videos and powerpoint
presentations can help in attaining the learning competencies
that is included in the MELC.

The WHLP should be aligned


with the MELCs. I simplified the
instructions that were given in
the modules so that home
facilitators can easily
understand the task. I used
color red font to show
emphasis on the instructions.

The worksheet I made based from the MELC consists of


knowledge and process activities. I include tasks wherein they
can draw or compose a poem.

The worksheets served as an additional activity for pupils. I


made these worksheets based on the learning objectives and
learning tasks that will fit the pupils as well as assess the pupils
learning. Other worksheets were created as an intervention for
the topics that are hard for the pupils. These worksheets are
printed or uploaded in the Messenger Group Chat.

A part of my
professional
development plan is to
attend seminar /
webinars. I have
attended a series of
webinars on ICT, which
helped me in this time
that all of the tasks are
online. I also
participated in the
activities spearheaded
by the Division Office.
These help me to be
active in the different
task. I also became a
coach in the recently
concluded DSPC
which proves that
pandemic is not a
hindrance to learning
and achieving ones
goals

My personal experience in the implementation


of distance LDM/s helped me reflect on my profession
as a teacher and educator. I know that I need to pay
attention on my abilities and professional needs.
I made me point out what are my strengths and
weakness as a teacher.
Engagement with parents, pupils , colleagues and
stakeholder is important in the educative process. The
use of social media platforms can help to facilitate the
feedbacking of their performance. But we should
consider those who cannot cope up because of the
lack of access of technology. I think as I teacher in the
new normal, it is my responsibility to provide the pupils
of quality education no matter what. That is why we
have the printed modules and WHLP to help both
parents and pupils.
With this LDM2 Course , I have documented my
collection work and realized that it is very important to
see what I have achieved and what I still need to
achieve. It has instilled in me to improve my lesson
plans, engage with parents and stakeholder, attend
trainings and webinars, participate in LAC sessions. This
guided me to cope up with the education in the New
Normal.

To make sure that the pupils are on the right track, I see to it that I
meet my pupils online via Google meet, even though they are
modular and not required to go online I tried
my best to monitor them. I held mini classes
and ask them to send pictures of their
output. We usually discuss the task that is in
their WHLP. I know that it can help to attain
the learning objectives.

feedbacking , I
try my best to
talk to the pupils
to know if they
understood the
lesson. We
usually check
some of their
outputs online.

I participated in various activities done within


the school. It helped to gain knowledge and
insights together with my colleagues such as
LDM and CIP. These activities

FB Messenger was the main


platform that I used to
communicate with parents.
A kumustahan with pupils
and parents were done
once in a while. Parents
also have their own part
during the retrieval and
distribution of LMs.

Aside from using the FB Messenger , I text and


call parents so that everyone will be aware of
the announcements.
