II. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

A MUSEUM is an institution that cares for a collection of artifacts and other
objects artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance. The City of Alaminos is proposing for the
development of museum to showcase in their historical and cultural artifacts such as Different variety
of Painting, Sculptures, Photography.

III. DESIGN OBJECTIVES:

a. The purpose of modern museums is to collect, preserve, interpret, and display objects of artistic,
cultural, or scientific significance for the study and education of the public

b. To give priority and Importance of Climatological, Ecological, Solar & Wind.

IV. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:

a. Careful study of circulation system / flow of viewers.
b. Provide vault for priceless collections
c. Adequate curatorial spaces
d. Flexible service entrance for large exhibit materials
e. Safety and security

V. DRAWING REQUIREMENTS: Using 1- Whole size of White Cartolina (thick)

Sheet 1: Floor plan with furniture setting – use Scale 1: 75 meters

Sheet 2: Four (4) Elevations and Two (2) longitudinal and cross Section showing furniture for
every building with labelling - use Scale 1:75 meters
Sheet 3: Interior Perspective showing at the following locations:
1. In the area of curatorial spaces
2. Within the area of Lobby

VI. BASIS OF GRADING (In order of Priority)
