DISCRIPTION OBJECTIVE
Project Marie is the school's initiated reading
intervention from Kinder to Grade 6for every school
year but, in response to Brigada Pagbasa " Basa Ko,
Tabang Mo", the school use the same title with a
different approach from its usual implementation.
Reading is very much important . It is the process of
taking in the sense of meaning of letters, symbols, etc.
especially sight or touch. Brigada Pagbasa is one great
opportunity to improve the reading ability and
comprehension level of our pupils most especially the
struggling readers nd beginning readers. Our version
for Basa MO, Tabang is Project MARIE is our summer
reading activity where teachers focus on the frustration
level while parents and learning facilitators will be
handling the instructional and independent readers
based on the data gatherede form the PhilIRI post test
result. Our approaches covers form teaching
beginning reading from sounds, letters, blending of
sound, poetry reading, story reading, book exchange,
book fares, TV guided resourse and any other platforms.
This will cover from August to September 2021 in
preparation for the SY 2021-2022. Teachers visit the Aims to uplift the :
specific learners in their homes / any learning spaces 3 frustration level
provided the safe health protocols are being followed learners to 0; 27 instructional level
while other learning facilitators will group other learners to 30; 23
learners in the community with the guidance of the independent level learners to 35 at the end of
BLGU. This is done three (3) a week. the school year.
