1 CIVIL/STRUCTURAL
1.1 Soil Excavation
Excavation including, but not limited, to shoring, dewatering, hauling and disposal of
unsuitable or unneeded materials at a dump site.
1.1.1 Non-Rock, by hand

1.1.3 Rock, by machine or blasting.
1.2 Backfilling & Compaction
Provide back-filling material from a Saudi Aramco approved source, including cost of
material if any, loading & transporting irrespective of distance from jobsite, handling, placing,
compaction in layers 15 to 30 cm as required regardless of the method used, and testing.
This work shall include, but is not limited to, complete installation of vehicle or camel
crossings over pipelines in accordance with Standard Drawing AC-36660, Sheet 4. Including
installation as pipe protection, anode installation for casing. Crossing shall be 5m wide with
1m covers over the pipe and capped with 150mm layer of compacted marl.
This work shall include, but is not limited to, complete installation of road crossings including
installation of detour roads, installation of warning signs, excavation, installation of pipe and
protection (FBE coated steel casing or reinforced concrete slab), anode installation, backfill
and compaction, hydrostatic testing and re-paving the road.

Provide & install underground carbon steel piping including, but not limited to survey, ditch
excavation including rock, sand or subkha padding, bending, welding, lowering-in,
backfilling, tie-in where applicable, pre-heating & post weld heating if required, cleaning,
