MODULE PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

1. What are the different purposes of communication? Explain it using your own ideas.

Communication serves different purposes in our life. First it helps us to inform

and give information to other people. Example, informing them about the latest news,
latest circumstances that need to be solved. Second, communication helps us to
express our feelings, side and opinions about certain topics. Example you're in a
debate and you’re scared to talk and voice out your expression. Not knowing that your
opinion and reaction will give a lot of help. Third is to influence communication and
help us to influence other people, and educate them at the same time. And lastly, to
meet social expectations.

2. What makes communication purposeful?

Communication becomes purposeful because of the things that can be

served in using communication. Having communication is like having a key to
successfully teach, spread and fix a misunderstanding. Purposeful communication is
mindful. Consider the message you are trying to communicate. Make your
communication transparent and authentic, say what you mean and mean what you
say. Purposeful communication has very clear objectives, the message being relayed
has a job to do. Those objectives include sharing the strategic goals and plans as well
as the day to day tasks required to achieve them. Communication is all about getting
everyone on the same page. It is also a two Way Street where the leader listens to
what others have to say and carefully considers their input.
