1. You are chosen by the Municipal Government to organize an event like
“Run for A Cause”, a 5 km. Fun Run to be attended by all government
employees and students of the locality. How are you going to plan the
activities? Present your plan of the program.

This is how I am going to plan the activity, and this is my plan of the
program; I will do the following steps:

Step 1: I will do research and I will seek help from people who have already
organized such events and ask for various pieces of advice on how to pull off
these types of events.

Step 2: After collecting and listing all the information I need to know, I will set
up the necessary details to create the activity, event theme, venue, rules and
regulations, etc.

Step 3: Once all settings have been completed, the announcement of the event
will be made through the various media platforms.
Step 4: I will be able to answer different queried that will be asked by those
people who will be joining the event that I organized.

and process to be used to manage the risk associated with this
program. Critical risk management considerations are based on

2. As you go to your Rural Health Unit, you learned that many of your
townmates are suffering from cardio-vascular disease and diabetes. Being a
student of P.E. class, how can you help them in addressing their health
problems?

I will proactively promote physical fitness activities in my town to

encourage everyone that their illnesses can still get better by proper diet
and exercise. Informing every one of the many benefits of being physically
active would help them realize that health and fitness should not be taken
for granted.

What I Have Learned

Complete the following unfinished statements below.

1. I discovered that organizing an event is … Fun and makes me
enjoy, although it’s quite tiring but you need to organize it well
in order for it to come out well.
2. I discovered that in planning an event… make sure you know what
you want to achieve and ask ideas and suggestion so that you
have a lot of resources to make it successful.
3. I can say that if an event or activity is well organized… when
everything goes smoothly and no mistake but we don’t have
assurance for that so let prepare a plan B if anything went
wrong, do back up and double check everything so we couldn’t
miss anything in plan for the event.
4. I learned that initiating an activity will help me to… be prepared,
more active lifestyle for healthy living and it will help make me
healthy, physically and mentally.
5. Being the leader or organizer, my responsibility is… to plan well for
the event, make some assessment for the activity and more
important is the safety and the well-being of the participant.

GREAT! YOU DID WELL!
