NATIONAL WOMENS’ MONTH CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES

To: All Teaching, Nonteaching, and Teaching-Related Personnel

1. The National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) every March is part of

the worldwide observance of the International Women's Day (IWD) that
falls on the 8th day of the month with the Proclamation No. 244 s 1988
declaring the first week of March every year as Women's Week and March
8 as Women's Right and International Peace Day, the Proclamation No.
227 s 1988 providing for the observance of the Month of March as
Women's Role in History Month, and Republic Act 6949, s 1990 declaring
March 8 every year as National Women's Day as legal bases.

2. As part of this school’s thrust towards gender mainstreaming, all women

and men school personnel, are hereby enjoined to participate in the
activities conducted by the school.

3. Please see the list of activities and committee.

4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is highly

desired.
