A SEMI- DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN


GRADE 7 SCIENCE

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to.
 Define monsoons
 Differentiate the land and sea breeze and
 Illustrate the transfer of air in land and sea breeze.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
A. Topic: Land and Sea Breeze
B. References: Science Grade 7 Teacher Guide: pp 309 - 311
Science Grade 7 Learner Guide: pp 326 - 327
C. Materials: Laptop, Smart TV, Visual Aids, Pictures, Power point presentation.
D. Values: Cooperation, Collaboration

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preparation
The teacher will begin the class by greeting the students, leading the prayer, energizer and
checking of attendance.

B. Motivation
The teacher will divide the class into 3 groups and distribute jigsaw puzzle in each group. The
class will solve the given puzzle for 5 minutes.

C. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will start the lesson by giving instruction and the activity to the students.
 Students will do the activity with the teacher’s supervisions.
 Students will answer the following guide questions and students will present their output.
 The teacher will also flash the lesson using PowerPoint Presentation for showing the
differences of land and sea breeze.

D. Activity
On a clean bond paper, students will differentiate land breeze and sea breeze for 5 minutes.
