higher revenue and profit than many other economic sectors. Earning a huge source of
income for the country

inherent potential.

IV. FOOTBALL IS ONE OF THE SPORTS WITH THE LARGEST REVENUE.

1. Why is football the most profitable sport?

1.1 Football is a multinational sport and also known as the king sport
- Around the 1850s, amateur football teams were established more and more, but
the fact that the universities spread their own rules made it difficult to compete in
friendly matches. That led to the establishment of The Football Association (FA for
short).
- The first football tournament, the FA Cup, was held for teams in England in
1872. The first recorded international football match was between England and
Scotland. Thus, although football may have been around for a long time in China,
England has always been considered the cradle of modern football being popular on
the planet.
- The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) was founded in
1904. FIFA is currently the largest football organization worldwide with more than
200 member countries. The football rules promulgated by FIFA become the most
widely applied official football law in tournaments from amateur to professional, top
notch.
- In 2001, according to a survey by FIFA, there were more than 240 million
people regularly playing football in more than 200 countries. Simple rules and
inexpensive competition equipment help this game thrive. In many countries, football
plays an important role in people's lives, is an agent to repel social evils and create a
better living environment for children. This is the most exciting sport on the planet.
- Some reasons make football become king sport: The attractiveness of football
from a scientific perspective. Simply put, when players play football, the hormone
testosterone is released and causes arousal in athletes. Therefore, watching the players
play also changes the amount of testosterone in us. Football has the most of the
following

3.7% of GDP and create 5.4% of total employment in mainland Europe. Europe is
considered the continent of top football. The most exciting matches, the strongest
teams and the best players are all born from this old continent. Therefore, the above
number is not too surprising.
- In addition, according to studies from economists, the achievement of football
can be considered an indicator, a factor to reflect the level of economic development of
a country. This study, based on data from 135 countries for the period 1993-2010,
studies the relationship between the position of that country's football in the FIFA
rankings and two extremely important economic indicators: GDP per capita. per capita
and human development index HDI. Accordingly, football is a factor to contribute to
promoting the development of these two indicators.
.
2. The benefits that football brings to Vietnam
- Vietnamese football over the years has continuously achieved remarkable
achievements, even miracles such as the runner-up at the 2018 AFC U23
Championship, the AFF Cup champion in 2018, the 2019 SEA Games gold medal...
- With these achievements, Vietnamese football is known to more people and is
more interested by friends in Southeast Asia and Asia. This is an important channel to
contribute to promoting sports, image, country and people of Vietnam to international
friends like today. Interested in Vietnamese football, people will also be more
interested in that country.
- For businesses, football is an effective tool to promote brands and even bring
financial benefits. Through football, businesses are better known for advertising forms
from this sport. Not to mention the businesses that invest in the football industry,
earning huge profits through transfer deals. The more football develops, the higher the
value of the players.

country.
