Say Cheese!
The Battle of the Little Bighorn was fought along the
ridges, steep bluffs, and ravines of the Little Bighorn
River in south-central Montana on June 25-26, 1876.
The combatants were warriors of the Lakota Sioux,
Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes, battling men of
the 7th Regiment of the US Cavalry. Held on the banks
of the Little Bighorn River, the 30th Annual Battle of the
Little Bighorn Re-enactment had its first showing today,
the 146th Anniversary of "Custer's Last Stand". It is a
part of the annual Crow Native Days, a celebration that
attracts thousands of people from across the country.
The warriors consist of young Crow Tribe riders and the
Calvary riders have been trained at the U.S. Calvary

School in helena. There are well over a hundred
horse riders, braves and Calvary combined. Known
to the Lakota and other Plains Indians as the Battle
of the Greasy Grass, the Reenactment lasts about 90
minutes. Saturday and Sunday's re-enactments are
at 1:00 each day, and if you feel like taking a trip on
a whim, Rachel Boese (who took some dandy photos
last year) highly recommends the trip! Cost is $20 for
adults and $10 for children 7 to 13 years of age (children
under 7 free). Tickets are sold at the gate only, and for
quick processing at the entrance, they appreciate it if
you have the exact amount of cash for your family or
group. Oh, and about the "Say Cheese!"?

A TikTok video came out on 6/22/2022 from @
adtruckingrepair, with a warning to farmers and small
fleet owners especially:
Diesel engine oil will completely run out in 4-8 weeks,
and will not be replenished in an entire year! Re-sealing
your engine (tear everything down, split the case, clean all
mating surfaces, reassemble all with new sealants/gaskets/
seals) and buying extra filters would be the thing to do while
you're picking up your 55 gallon drums (If they let you buy
more than one at a time, because they're already rationing
the public at bulk retailers!).
For 18 wheeler trucks, an oil change is usually by
miles, not months, and should be about every 25,000 miles
MAX. Mike Adams from www.Brighteon.com said in a
video yesterday that because 18 wheelers drive on average
2500 miles a week, they have to get the oil change about
every 10 weeks; which means starting in August 2022, 10%
of 18 wheelers will be out of commission per week for 10
weeks, then you might see the majority of trucks parked
waiting on that diesel engine oil. Here's a thought: Trains
also operate on Diesel Engine Oil.
So, what's it going to take to get toilet paper now?
Maybe we should ask the guy who bought an entire cart of
TP at a store in Glasgow here right before THAT shortage
back in 2020, and when asked, "wutcha doin'?" He replied,
"There's gonna be a shortage, and I'maboot to sell it to
people for a dollar a roll."
Well, he may be able to do that locally, but trying to sell
it on ebay, or another site where they rely on 18 wheelers to
drive his TP across country for him... to a grateful person
who previously had to cut up newspaper for the outhouse,
will not be able to deliver (at least in a timely fashion).
Getting toilet paper from ebay 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day
after needing it isn't very Christ-like of the person selling
it, knowing what he knows about shortages (and diesel oil
shortages)!
It's not the base oil that's the problem, it's the
additives. From what Mike Adams said, there are only two
companies in the whole world that produce the additives
that go into diesel engine oil, and one of them is Chevron.
Whether this is yet another government psyop or not, or
whether they're hiding truckloads of an alternate additive
in underground bunkers somewhere in DC, the shortage
appears real.
So will July 4th be our last hoorah for a year? Is it
me, or did I hear a while back that having more than two
weeks worth of food in your home is considered "food
hoarding?" In 1994 Bill Clinton made into law (10998),
that in the event of martial law, the government could seize
"hoarded" food supplies from public and private sources.
What will happen if everything shuts down, including the
grocery stores, primarily in large cities? Average people
in large cities don't have friendly farmers nearby to cut a
deal on a few cartons of eggs, a few butchered chickens,
a box of tomatoes and cucumbers.Glasgow, with a diesel
oil shortage, can we reconsider the "Cluck No!" ban on
chickens here in the city? I know of someone already
breaking that law, unless it's a "pet therapy chicken." Can
we have an emergency vote before July 22nd, so at least we
can have fried chicken and potato salad with eggs in it for a
birthday party, anniversary or celebration of life? Anyone
have a good mayonnaise recipe?
Something to consider (if diesel mechanics can't find
a way to make some sort of functioning alternate additive
to add to the base oil, to make a good enough substitute for
15w40) on top of not having food or medicine:
• Filter shortage coming next? An over-buy to keep trucks
running on dirty oil?
• Road construction halted (ever blew out a tire hitting a
pothole on HWY 2?)
• No tires, shocks, and other needed truck parts.
• No cattle moving for a year, unless you can 'tie them
heifers up one at a time, and throw 'er into thee(ee) old
Toyota pick-up that still has some tire tread on the front
tires'... so long as you don't hit a pothole!
• How will this affect our utilities? Electricity, water,
natural gas plants or propane?
• No bus rides eventually? Unless there are gas-powered
shuttle buses or vans. Should Valley County consider
getting Uber/Lyft started? I'd be happy to train, if I could
get some real help getting Montana tags on my Jetta that
VW salvaged and abandoned me with (with no pink). I
was a popular Uber & Lyft driver in California (because
I'm a female) as females typically trust female drivers
more in that industry.
Point is, diesel engine oil is already scarce, already
being rationed and there are warnings on many supplier's
websites. I'm inclined to believe it's another psyop, and
it won't be as damaging as Mike Adams or TikTok's @
adtruckingrepair exclaims, but who knows? I bought into
the fear and panic like an idiot when the p-L-andemic hit
in 2020. Have you seen our bread aisles lately, and our
factories mysteriously catching fire? Remember the joke,
The Green New Deal? The problem is, it's the real deal, it's
not made up. Think ahead, friends... prepare and brace for

Then one little boy in the back eagerly raised his

Timmy replied: "A compass, a canteen of water,
and a deck of cards."
"Why's that Timmy?"
"Well," answered Timmy, "the compass is to find the
right direction, the water is to prevent dehydration..."
"And what about the deck of cards?" asked the
Scout Master impatiently.
"Well, Sir, as soon as you start playing Solitaire,
someone is bound to come up behind you and say, "Put
that red nine on top of that black ten!"

The Tattoo

Tattoo’s are a familiar piece of body art. They have
been around for centuries. Maybe even hundreds of
years. Just trying to see if you are paying attention.
Some range from love for a relative or friend who
has gone to the other side to love of ones self. Body
ornamentation theme is sometimes in the eye of the
beholder.
Why, I remember after a long and arduous weather
recon mission, 6 hours and 20 minutes, I woke up in
my room after a R&R night out down in Hotel Street,
Honolulu, Hawaii and supposedly have a tattoo
someplace on me. I have never found it! But then
there are places on my body that my naked eye cannot
perceive.
Anyway, to the point of this article! While living in
the confines of our sailing vessel in the Ala Wai Harbor,
in Hawaii, we had the dubious distinction of being
able to walk almost anywhere for accommodations of
sustenance.
My wife and I would walk our daughter to her
place of employment at the Ala Moana Shopping center
but before her time to go to work had arrived, we always
stopped in at “Baguettes”. It was a very small restaurant
that had the distinction of serving mostly a French
cuisine. We of course had their French baguette roll
for breakfast. Timing was of the essence to get a seat,
any seat was preferred as it usually was crowded with
patrons.
This AM was different. Very different, indeed.
We had arrived at our usual time and Steve, the
owner, and fellow yachtsman, sat us, and brought our
usual items. After a few minutes of the crowd forming,
the tiny restaurant became full and there were no more
seats available!
There was a long line at the counter and I noticed
that a couple was having a bit of difficulty finding
seating as the place was packed. The man had braces on
both his legs and his wife had an arm that was different
looking. We motioned them both over and had them
sit with us. They were rather reluctant but did take our
invitation and came over and joined us at our table. His
name was John and his wife was Mary. I will not use
their last names, just because.
They were from Canada, Alberta, to be exact, and
come in every year at this time. John limped a lot but he
was not complaining although he always looked gruff.
Mary was as sweet as could be. We became friends
forever!
They would stay for a month in Hawaii and then
returned to their home in Alberta. We kept in touch
and when they were to arrive, we would meet them at
Baguettes for a reunion, of sorts. One year, after arriving,
we met them as always, and they always were pleasant
but never expounded on their background on where
they were from, not that it was any of our business, of
course.
On this one particular morning, before we had
walked to the restaurant, the news came on the telly and
reported that a ‘Canadian Air’ plane had gone down
and all on board were lost. This was the flight that John
and Mary always took to the islands. When we got to
Baguettes, there were John and Mary, waiting for us. We
ordered and had breakfast with them as usual. The news
came on in the restaurant and the accident was being
shown. I asked if that was the flight that they usually
rode on and they said that it was. I asked if they were
not a little bit scared about their return.
Both John and Mary sighed. They looked into
our eyes and softly said no. They both said that they
were scared, once, but they are not afraid of anything,
anymore! Then both of them rolled up their sleeves.
Standing out like a blaring horn was “THE
TATTOOS”! You know, the ones that the Nazi’s put on
the Jewish people before going to the encampments.
John and Mary were children when they received
their permanent markings and sent to Dachau
concentration camp. They were rescued, thanks to God
and of course, the U.S. Army.
We, of course, were shocked beyond belief. We had
never seen the Nazi markings before and never hope to
see them again. It was gut wrenching to see them. John
and Mary grabbed our hands and gave a gentle squeeze,
and whispered “Thank God for the Americans”! They
teared up as they
had lost their entire
families over there.
They were alone
back then, except for
the other children,
but were fortunate
to make it out.
H o p e f u l l y,
with the grace of
God this will never
happen again. One
can only hope!
