inside the Charles M.

“Just doing a little

bow.”
It was very early
morning, not even an hour
into his hike and down by
a watering hole, “I hear a
crick-crack,” he said.
Rustling around and
making the noise on that
calm morning was a big
bull elk that had no idea

RE-ELECT JOHN FAHLGREN
FOR VALLEY COUNTY COMMISSIONER END OF YEAR PARTY
A new swimming pool for Glasgow is important. However, Valley County Commissioners
voted unanimously to adopt a resolution I wrote to oppose a county- wide levy to help fund the

pool. A county-wide levy would have required county ownership of the pool and the liability Cornhole @ 2pm • Live Music @ 8pm
that would come with that. Importantly, a pool levy vote would have conflicted with the
Valley View levy and the much-needed gravel levy question, which the commission
has delayed for several years to avoid conflict with the Valley View levy. Also, it was
opposed due to the unfairness of taxing those who live far away from the pool, and the fact that
the County funds 100% of the Airport and 80% of the library.
