closes, here’s what the
Western Valley 4-H Club’s
been doing.
On August 1st, the
Western Valley 4-H club
set up a booth for the
North East Montana Fair
with the theme of “Calling
all Superheros.” During
the fair, Valley County 4-H
held their Farm Olympics
on August 6th, featuring
eating contests, hay bale
stacking, egg throwing,
and more.
On August 14th, the
Western Valley 4-H Club
took some time to unwind
at Seussical the Musical,
followed by a relaxing
swim in the dredge cuts.
On September 21st, Valley
County 4-H helped to
clean horse stalls prior to FFA Alumni President and Western Valley Organization Leader Heidi Johnson (at

husband, Ryan, and I raise wheat, peas, lentils, flax
and kids: Colten, Abby, Mo, John, Roman & Ethan. I
was born in Glasgow, raised & graduated from Nashua
in 1992. My 12-year career with Nemont began in
1999 as a receptionist and moving to Customer
Service shortly after. Within 2 years, I took on the role
of Wireless Coordinator. My final years at Nemont
were spent as the Customer Service Supervisor for
the Glasgow office. In 2011, I chose to stay at home
to raise my children and help run the family farm. I
currently serve on the Glasgow Chamber board and
have for several years. It has opened my eyes to the
role of a board member: the work, research, importance
and impact of the process and decisions made.
