know he still competes? Wageman broke his own pole vault record from
last year, clearing the bar at 9-feet, 8-inches.
He competed in the 60-64 age group and
improved on his vault by one inch, holding
the record for that age group. He still owns
the BSSTG record in the 50-54 age group
as well, clearing the bar at 11 feet in 2010.
Kliewer competed in numerous
track events. He competed in the 65-
69 age group where he won four gold
medals. Kliewer ran a 22.03 in the
100, 1:29.36 in the 400, 3:11.06 in
the 800, a 6:39.58 in the 1,500 and a
23:42.95 in the 5K.
The games also bring
together athletes that run the
relays. Kliewer ran the final leg
of the 4X400 relay with athletes
from Joliet. Micah Snodgrass,
71, Daniel Lavy, 25, and Bryan
Eder, 64, ran a time of 5:12.69 to
finish third. The team that won
the relay were 19-21 in age and
were from Wolf Point. Christian
