Hallock going
to next level
By Mike Brandt
It’s hard to find an athlete
that excels in two and three sports.
Glasgow has had a few that has. The
class of 2022 had some. Looking at
some recent Glasgow grads who
have, Dalton Sand and Bergen Miller
in cross country, basketball and
track; Tyann Graham and Blaire
Westby in volleyball, basketball and
track; Abrianna Nielson in volleyball
and basketball.
The most recent athlete that has
excelled in two sports is Kyler Hallock.
He was a standout in football and
wrestling.
Hallock was a running back and
linebacker. He rushed for 938 yards on
158 carries and scored 14 touchdowns.
On defense he had 40 tackles with 32
unassisted.
“It was pretty good,” Hallock said
about his high school career. “We had
a new head coach my freshmen year.
He built off of my class and the class
before me. My senior year went well,
it was awesome. There’s only so much
you can do as an individual, but I feel I
did great.” photo by Rachel Boese

the winners every time."
