by GWC Staff
Wow. Statement made.
The Glasgow Wrestling Club is
peaking as we head into the final
month of the season!
On Saturday, 52
Highlanders headed 70 miles
east to the Annual Poplar
Invitational. At the end of the
day; TWENTY Individual
Champions were crowned and
FORTY FIVE found their way
into a top 3 finish. Our overall
individual record was 100 wins
and 54 losses with 78 pins (41
pins against).
11 of our older kids
attended the Havre Middle
School Invitational on the same
date and 10 of them found the
podium. This experienced
group was paced by 3 individual
Champions.
Next Weekend, the Glasgow
Wrestling Club will wrestle at
Middle School State or the Big
Spring Brawl in Lewistown
while others will compete in the
Glendive Invitational. Friends and Teammates Buddy Cole and Colt Knaff at the Indian Dome.

History was made Saturday night at the Northern
B Divisional basketball tournament held at Glasgow
High School. For the first time the final four teams to
play Saturday night were all from District 2B.
Malta won its 18th divisional championship with

the final night in Malta a week earlier at the district
tournament. Malta also beat the Wolves that night.
In the consolation game it was Glasgow running
over Poplar 71-57. (More on that in Thursday’s BUZZ).
The Scotties also beat the Indians for third place a week
ago.

The GHS Educational Trust was established in
1964 by the GHS Class of 1938 to help GHS alumni
achieve their post-secondary educational goals. Since
its inception, hundreds of generous donors have built

applicants through a semi-annual process administered
by the trustees. Application deadlines are July 1st and
October 15th of each year.
The application, which lists all requirements that
