MY ANNOTATION
Behaviorism
Activity: “MOUNTAIN CLIMBING”
Divide the class into two groups wherein they have to race to reach the peak by answering
correctly the given question. For every correct answer, the group will step up and for every
wrong answer they must step down. The group who will reach the peak first will be declared
as the winner and will receive a reward after the discussion.
o I applied this philosophy in this activity because I believe providing incentives to
students will help reinforce positive response and eliminate the negative belief of the
students towards the subject
Progressivism
Activity: Relate the discussion by asking students about their RELATION with their families.
Tell them that there is no perfect relationship, complexity arise, what matter most is that
whatever relationship it is, you are more than willing to give and take.
o I used this attitude in this project to motivate my pupils to relate our lesson to their
actual experiences, which exemplifies active learning.
Essentialism
Activity: Discuss the following key concept:
1. Relation refers to the relationship between sets of values of ordered pairs
2. Domain are set of elements in the first set
3. Range are set of elements in the second set
4. In One-to-one relation, one domain is paired to only one range
5. In One-to-Many relation, one domain is paired to many range
6. In Many-to-One relation, many domain is paired to one range
o If students are able to grasp the key idea of the subject, I think they will understand
the lesson effectively.
Constructivism
Activity: Students have to color the corresponding relation in each item
o In this philosophy, students had the opportunity to put what they had learned in class
into practice.
