A. Preliminary Activities

- Directions: Arrange and combine the jumbled letters in columns B
and C to arrive at the appropriate name of each search engine icon.
Also, using each of the search engines find a concept or an idea
about a family. Write your answers on the spaces provided in
column D. Make item one as your basis.
1. ACTIVITY
- UNLOCK TO LOCK! A synopsis of the story THE CENTEPEDE will be
read to the class, then they’ll be answering the word puzzle.

B. Development of the Lesson

- Presentation of the lesson/topic: The Use of Search Engines
- Questions will be asked and entertained for the students further
understanding.

- From the previous activity is their any advantages or disadvantages in
using particular search engines?
- How do these Search Engines become helpful in your everyday
activity?
3. ABSTRACTION
The use of Search Engines enable you to excel in your studies. With these
learning tools, you are provided with a wealth of information that you can use
in accomplishing the learning activities required by your school. Furthermore,
a collection of data possible to be retrieved with the search engines enhances
your learning outputs which in turn can improve your academic
 performance.Google, Bing, Yahoo are some of the recognized and widely –
used search engines.

4. APPLICATION
Directions: Using the search engines, look for specific solutions to
the other identified causes of family problems. Inside each arrow,
write the search engine used in providing solutions to heal wounded
relationships in the family.

IV. EVALUATION

REBUILD HOMES
Directions: One of the Filipino values that we need to uphold is strong family
ties. Aided by the search engines, create a photo collage of a family united and
strengthened by crises like the COVID 19 pandemic. Be guided by the following
rubric in doing the task.

V. AGREEMENT

In the next meeting, present in class your photo collage output.
