 Identify problem or issues encountered in the classroom/school;
 Generate topics for action research through individual reflection;
 Examine problems or issues identified vis-à-vis the Basic Education
Research Agenda (BERA) to ensure alignment between possible
topic/ and the Agenda;
 Develop possible solution/s (intervention, innovation, or strategy) to
identified research problem/s; and
Evaluate and asses the formulated title of an action research.

 Enumerate the criteria for good research questions;  Discuss difference between action and basic research.
 Evaluate the quality of research questions formulated based on
the five criteria for good research questions;
 Formulate action research questions based on the conceptual
framework; and
 Formulate good action research questions and their
corresponding hypotheses.
