Function Generator
Sine Wave - A function generator usually can act as a sine wave generator. This waveform that
standardly oscillates between two levels with a standard sinusoidal shape. Sine waves are widely
useful when it comes in testing applications.
Square wave - It is a signal moving directly between high and low levels. This test instrument
provides a source of a basic digital waveform.
Pulse wave - It is functionally the like a square wave, but with the mark space ratio of 1:1
Triangular wave - This form of signals linearly moves between a high and low point. This often
generated using an operational amplifier stand as an integrator. The triangular waveform is
useful in testing amplifiers because it is far easier to see distortion and clipping on a triangular
waveform than it is on a sine waveform.
Sawtooth wave – Similar to sawtooth with the rise edge of the waveform faster or slower than the
fall, making a form of shape. It is same circuit as the triangular waveform that generated, but with
the different rise and fall times produce by shifting the charge rate the elements of the integrator.
OSCILLOSCOPE - is a visual voltmeter with a timer that shows when a voltage changes. An
analog scope uses a cathode ray tube (CRT) similar to a television screen to display voltage
patterns.
Oscilloscope
An oscilloscope's function is to display waveforms. Also, time is displayed along the X-axis
(horizontal axis) and amplitude is displayed along the Y axis (vertical axis). An electronic
waveform can be visualized on an oscilloscope in this manner. The waveform is similar to the
ripples that form when a stone is dropped into a pond.

MULTIMETER – A multimeter or a multi-tester, also known as a VOM, is an electronic
measuring instruction that combines several measurement functions in one unit.

Uses Functions of Multimeter
A multi meter usually can measure voltage, current, and resistance. In more advance model in
our generation it can measure also capacitance, inductance, and temperature and also can
measure frequency and duty cycle.
