 Topic: People’s life before and after the COVID 19 pandemic

After the coronavirus pandemic, residents’ lives become unenergetic.

However, dwellers previously are lively. Therefore, there are two main
differences between people's lives before and after the covid epidemic
which are the health issues and the way people learn and work.

Firstly, the foremost change in citizens’ lives before and after an

outbreak of the coronavirus is health challenges. Undeniably, the
pandemic has led to a dramatic increase in psychological problems.
Society is attempting to cope with addiction, depression, social isolation
and the general anxiety caused by COVID-19. According to a recent
article reported by BBC, it is clearly shown to be negatively impacting
young people for example. 52 percent of those surveyed said they had
confronted symptoms of depression since the pandemic emerged,
including 70 percent of those aged between 16 to 36. However, there is
a positive difference after the epidemic is an increase in health
awareness. Since the Covid- 19 pandemic began, nearly one-third of
survey participants say they have achieved substantial lifestyle
modifications, such as spending numerous times outdoors or in nature,
promoting sleep patterns, beginning or adjusting a fitness routine, and
developing healthy dietary changes.

In addition, one of the dissimilarities between residents’ lives before

and after the coronavirus epidemic is how people work and learn. As
social distancing policies have contributed to a more virtual existence,
both personally and professionally, telecommuting and online learning
are prevalent among people. According to the New York Times,
hundreds of employees are allowed to work from home via the Internet
in the United States by Google. Moreover, online classrooms have
recently been the most popular selection of Vietnamese students in
2020 as reported by VTV. While before the Covid - 19, the real
classroom is the compulsory option for scholars. However, this assists
students in developing social skills and broadening human
relationships, while, students in virtual classrooms can be passive
because of a sedentary lifestyle and shortage of physical interaction.

In summary, the dwellers’ lives before and after the Covid- 19 pandemic
are different. After the advent of the epidemic, mental health problems
sharply increase. However, citizens raise their healthcare concerns so
they tend to change their lifestyle positively. Furthermore,
telecommuting and e-learning become an essential part of people's
lives. It is expected that residents’ longevity will lengthen.
