Mother: And your new teacher?

அம்மா: உன்னுயைய புதிய ஆசிரியர்?

Lavanya: Yes, He's very kind. He sings and plays the piano beautifully.

Son: Yes dad. And I am ready for that.

Father: Did you finish reading everything?

தந்யத: நீ எல்லாவற்யறயும் படித்து முடித்து விட்ைாயா?

Son: Yes, I have already revised my book several times.

மகன்: ஆமாம், நான் ஏற்கனபவ என் புத்தகத்யத பலமுயற திரும்ப படித்துவிட்பைன்.

Father: So which rank do you expect ?

தந்யத: நீ எந்த த வரிய யய எதிர்ப்பார்க்கிறாய்?

Son: I hope that I will get first place. In the model exam, I got first
place and secured the highest marks in our school.
மகன்: நான் முதல் வகுப்பில் பதர்ச்சி கபறுபவன் என்று நம்புகிபறன். மாதிரி பதர்வில்

examination.

Son: If everything goes fine, then I will fulfill your expectation.

மகன்: எல்லாம் நன்றாக நைந்தால், நான் உங்களுயைய எதிர்பார்ப்புகயள
நியறபவற்றுபவன்.

Father: This exam is very crucial because your higher study will depends
on this result. If you didn't study well in HSC, then you may not get
chance for higher study in a reputed university.
தந்யத: இந்த பதர்வு தான் உன்னுயைய பமல் படிப்யப முடிவு க ய்யும் என்பதால்
இந்த பரிட்ய மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. நீ HSC-யில் ரியாக படிக்காவிட்ைால், புகழ்
கபற்ற பல்கயலக்கழகத்தில் பமல் படிப்புக்கான வாய்ப்யபப் கபற முடியாமல்
பபாய்விடும்.

Son: That's true and I am serious in my studies.

மகன்: அது உண்யமதான், என்னுயைய படிப்பில் நான் தீவி மாக இருக்கிபறன்.

Father: Another thing that your career will depend on the area of your
higher study. So this result will actually determine your career as well.
தந்யத: உனது வாழ்க்யக உன்னுயைய பமல் படிப்பு துயறயய ார்ந்து இருக்கும்
என்பது மற்கறாரு விஷயம். எனபவ இந்த முடிவுதான் உண்யமயில் உன் வாழ்க்யகயய
தீர்மானிக்கும்.

Son: Oh really?
மகன்: அப்படியா?

Father: So do your best, my son.

தந்யத: அதனால் உன்னால் முடிந்தவய சிறப்பாக க ய், என் மகபன.

Son: Don't worry, dad. I am fully prepared.

The Wolf and the Lamb...!

ஆங்கில வடிவில்:

Once, a little lamb was grazing on a meadow, along with a flock

of sheep. It found some grass at the edge of the field. And it went
away from the others.

When it was grazing, it didn’t notice a wolf was closely following

it. However, when it pounced on her, it was quick to start
pleading, ′Please, please don′t eat me yet. My stomach is full of grass.
If you wait a while, grass will be digested, and then you can taste me.′

The wolf thought that was a good idea, so he sat down and
waited. After a while, the lamb said, ′If you allow me to dance, the grass
in my stomach will be digested faster. ′ sAgain, the wolf agreed.

While the lamb was dancing, it had a new idea. It said, ′Please
take out the bell around my neck. If you ring it as hard as you can, I
will be able to dance even faster. ′ The wolf took the bell and rang it
as hard as he could. The Shepherd heard the bell ringing and quickly
sent his dogs to find the missing lamb. The barking dogs frightened the
wolf away and saved the lamb′s life.

Moral: Physical strength is not always sufficient. Sometimes, weaker

people with smart minds can overcome physically strong ones!

ஒருமுறை, ஒரு சிறிய ஆட்டுக்குட்டி ஆட்டு மந்றதயுடன் ஒரு புல்வவளியில்

மநரம் நீங் ள் ொத்திருந்தொல், என் வயிற்றில் இருக்கும் புல் நன்ைொ வெரித்து விடும்,
பிைகு நீங் ள் என்றை ருசிக் லொம்" என்ைது ஆட்டுக் குட்டி.

ஓநொய் இது ஒரு நல்ல மயொெறையொ இருக்கிைது என்று நிறைத்து,

ஆட்டுக்குட்டி கூறியது மபொலமவ கீமே உட் ொர்ந்து ொத்திருந்தது.

சிறிது மநரத்திற்கு பிைகு, ஆட்டுக்குட்டி, 'நீ என்றை நடைமொட அனுமதித்தொல்,

என் வயிற்றில் உள்ள புல் இன்னும் மவ மொ வெரித்துவிடும்" என்ைது. ஓநொய் அதற்கும்
ஒப்புக்வ ொண்டது.

ஆட்டுக்குட்டி நடைமொடிக் வ ொண்டிருக்கும் மபொது, அதற்கு ஒரு புதிய மயொெறை

மதொன்றியது. ஆட்டுக்குட்டி 'தயவு வெய்து என் ழுத்தில் ட்டியிருக்கும் மணிறய ேற்றி
மவ மொ ஓறெ எழுப்பிைொல் நொன் இன்னும் மவ மொ நடைமொடுமவன்" என்று ஓநொயிடம்
கூறியது. ஓநொய் மணிறய ேற்றி தன்ைொல் முடிந்த வறர ஓறெறய எழுப்பியது.

ஆடு மமய்ப்பவர் மணி ஓறெறயக் ம ட்டதும் ொணொமல் மபொை ஆட்டுக்

குட்டிறயக் ண்டுபிடிக் தன்னுறடய நொய் றள அனுப்பிைொன். நொய் ள் குறரத்துக்
வ ொண்டு வந்தறதப் பொர்த்த ஓநொய் பயந்து ஓடிவிட்டது. பின்ைர் நொய் ள்
ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் உயிறரக் ொப்பொற்றிை.

நீதி : உடல் வலிறம மட்டும் எப்மபொதும் உதவொது. சில மநரங் ளில், புத்திெொலி மைம்
வ ொண்ட பலவீைமொைவர் ள் தன்றை விட உடல் வலிறமயொைவர் றள வவல்ல
முடியும்!

Dog Owner Reply to Shopkeeper...!!

ஆங்கில வடிவில்:

One night when a shopkeeper was just about to close his shop, a
dog came to his shop. The dog was holding a bag in his mouth. When
the shopkeeper opened the bag, he saw a list of items and money in
the bag. The shopkeeper took the money and placed all the items in the
bag written on the list. Immediately the dog picked up the bag and left.
The shopkeeper decided to follow the dog to meet the dog′s owner.

That dog waited at the bus stop. Soon the bus came and the dog
got onto the bus. After that when the conductor came, the dog moved
forward to show his neck belt. The conductor saw it had money and
address in the neck belt. The conductor took the money and kept the
ticket in his neck belt.

When the bus reached the destination, the dog started to wag his
tail to indicate that he wanted to get down. The bus stopped and the
dog got down. The shopkeeper was still following that dog. The
shopkeeper saw that after walking some distance dog reached a house
and knocked on the door of that house. A person came out who was
the owner of the dog. When the dog owner saw the dog, he started to
beat it with a stick very badly.

The shocked shopkeeper who was following dog, went to dog

owner and asked him, ′Why are you beating the dog?′ Owner replied, ′He
disturbed my sleep. Instead it could have taken keys with him...!′

Moral : There are no end to expectations of people.
