III. Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities
( 1. Drill- If you don’t have activity requiring them automatic responses and mastery of
the past learnings, never mind putting drill)
a. Prayer
The teacher will lead the prayer
b. checking of attendance
The teacher will check the attendance ( Make it quick so it wont take of your time
for the main activities)
2. Review
The teacher will ask questions about the topic.
Directions: Identify the scientific skill being described in each sentence. Choose from the box
and write only the letter of the correct answer.
3. Motivation
The teacher will ask the pupils about their understanding or interpretation of the picture.
Note: How will you ask them to motivate them. Questions here should have been written.
B. Developmental Activities
2. Setting of standards
The teacher will set some rules that the pupils should follow throughout the discussion.
-listen to the teacher
-turn off your microphones when the teacher is talking
-raise a hand if you want to answer or ask questions
-participate
3. Discussion
The teacher will discuss the new topic.
The teacher will show pictures of the laboratory instruments give their names and their uses.
The teacher will discuss the procedure of measuring liquid and solid using the graduated
cylinder.
Then, the teacher will show a video about measuring the volume of liquid and solid using a
graduated cylinder.

C. Concluding Activities
1. Generalization
The teacher will ask the pupils about what the topic that has been discussed.
-What have you learned about the discussion? This will only waste time. Ask directly specific
question
-What are the science laboratory instruments that we have just discussed?
2. Application
The teacher will give a task for the pupils to answer.
