2.0 PURPOSE

The main purpose of this business plan is to provide clearer information or information regarding
the business we want to venture. Additionally, with this business plan, it can attract and convince
many parties to cooperate and make financial investments to our company.

- First and foremost, this business plan is as guideline for day-to-day management of the
business in order to ensure that the operation of business would be more effective.
- The other reason of making this business plan is to control cost and expenses that would be
borne by the company within monthly of salary distribution, equipment, transportations, as
well as advertisements cost.
- To fulfil the demand of the people who are seeking for convenience product that gives
various advantages to themselves.

The name of our company is Pata Timo Enterprise because of by using unique name, we can
attract customers especially from Pantai Timur to buy our product. We trying to produce the first
product ever that make cooking much easier. It helps people especially housewives in cooking
because they do not need to use the ‘old’ way to get the “asam jawa”. By using our product, it
can save a lot of time in cooking.

Our motto is “Your Cooking Bff” means that Pata Timo Enterprise will be a ‘bff’ for you in
kitchen.

We have chosen Food Product Industrial Estate, Kota Bharu, 15350, Kelantan as our business
location for our physical store. We have chosen this location based on a few aspects that have
been considered which are the infrastructures, the system of transportation, distance, and the
environment. Furthermore, we consider our place as a strategic place because our premises are in
Kota Bharu. Kota Bharu is being known for their great manufacturer and factory. Our premise
also easy to find because it is located near ‘Pasar Siti Khadijah’ and Mydin that people usually
visited. It’s a double storey building with all the infrastructure needed such as loading bay to
drop off the items, office to do the paperwork and space to do the process. It has basic amenities
such as Wi-Fi, utilities, and telephone line. The business will operate from Monday to Sunday.
The business operation hours are from 10am to 10pm.
ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN
Organization is the most important thing when open-up a business. It is to ensure the
business run smoothly. The performance, growth, and survival of the business depend on
managerial skills and capabilities. The manager should have the organization function such as
planning, controlling, organizing, and leading the company. The task of organizational manager
is to set the employee’s salaries, protect the employee’s welfare compensation and fringe
benefits, recruiting, provide the furniture and fitting in the office to ensure the employee
comfortable working environment.

Thus, in Pata Timo Enterprise we see organizational function as a vital task where it
compresses all the elements to make sure the effectiveness in terms of performing organization
activities. Our company, Pata Timo Enterprise which will focus on distribution for the first and
foremost tamarind cube in Malaysia. By looking this as business opportunity, we chose to create
this company that not only focusing on domestic demand but also international.

The organizational task also including plan and set the objective or goals of the business
and ensure the company achieve the goals that have been set successfully. The organization also
must arrange the organizational structure, do a working schedule, and calculate all budgets
relating to organization department. Besides, the organization also responsible to ensure the
partnership and the employees get the acceptable salaries like stated in the agreement and take
care about employee welfare such as SOCSO, EPF, leaves such as medical leaves, emergency
leaves, and annual leaves.

5.1 Salary

Basic wage or salary will be paid in cash as stipulated in the employment contract. Wages will be
paid once a month to the workers and the payment will be paid at the end of the month The
salary will be debited to their account on the 28 th of every month. Salaries will be given to all
employees based on the qualification and working experience.

5.2 EPF and SOCSO contributions

EPF is compulsory saving for employees that they will have money support themselves once
they retire. As general guideline, employers are required to contribute at least 11% of an
employee’s basic salary. Pata Timo Enterprise also provide Social Security Organization
SOCSO) contributions to ensure that employees receive compensation of work-related accidents
or illnesses.

5.3 Working hours

Every employee who works in Pata Timo Enterprise company must work for 12 hours a day
starting from 10.00am until 10.00pm every Monday to Sunday. We also give the employee lunch
hour which is from 2.00pm until 3.00pm

5.4 Medical allowance

Medical allowance will be provided in the event of illness.

5.5 Compensation and Benefits to workers

Compensation and benefits are given to workers to improve their performance and job
satisfaction.

5.6 Holiday

All workers are entitled to have at least once rest days every week that will be decided by
management salary.
