Uncertainty of Measurement shall be ensured as below:
++ 1 mm or longitudinal measurements;
+ Simmer the measurement f the distance between the supports and the overhanging eng;
+ 1° for the measurement of angles;
£1 %efor static forces and torque,
Ladder System ~ Dynamic drop test (226Kgs)

2520 X 2nos lake section top side and 840mm ladder section bottom side tobe instal, Arrangement
Should startin contact with bottom of ladder to the floor, and connected to a back cil stif enough not to
deflect during load spplcaton
Level all ladder brackets and check that both maintain equel height and distance between.
Load ladder Brackets, x brace & connectors centered vertcally between the two separate adder segments
Secured using reinforcement rung hardware on both rungs end rungs of ladders. Ladder brecke highs on
both sides tobe the same height off the ground/base, Ref below Figure
Attach edder brackets using GE requied hardware, and ensure proper torque values are used.
Attach fall arrest brackets to reinforced ladder rungs using GE required hardware. Proper torque required is
3ONinv22h. Ibs & back hardware torque 210Nm
Using cable fll arest components (wire rope fall arest head end & fal arrest botiom end create a lnk
between the weight to fll arrest cable or Fall aester ral mechanism), Record actual vendor name & parts
used.
Poston the safely sleeve on the cari @ convenient height above ground level (at ees! 6 fee)
Fit the hamess to the test treo and adjust snugly as though the frso were a person, Coneet the safely
Sleeve tothe hamess, as it woud be in normal use, Using the quick release mechanism raise the torso to a
Position that wil create the greatest free fall and mark the positon ofthe sleeve on the carrier

8) 500166 of weight should be placed roughly even wih the bottom of the head end ofthe fall arrest. Shoek
‘absorbing lanyard should be even or slighty higher than the slider.
Maintain approximately &* between centre of weigh and connection to slider no mater what setup is used
‘When using a chain winch, leave extra slack to alow all equal to that of the lanyard
Mark and record the beginning position ofthe sider ast sts onthe fall arrest cable.
