(2) 220mm & (1) 840mm ladder sections are to be used for this test. Arrangement should statin contact wit bottom of the ladder to the floor, and arrangement isto be connected toa back rail stif enough not to deflect during load application ‘Level ll ladder brackets and check that both maintain equal height and distance between, Brackets & connectors centered vertically between the two separate ladder segments. Secured using telnforcement rng hardware on both rungs end rungs of ladders. Ladder bracket heights on both sides fo be the same height off the groundibase ‘Attach ladder brackets using GE required hardware, and ensure proper torque values ae used. ‘Attach fall arest brackets to reinforced ladder rungs using GE required harcware. (ensure centre distance between ladder and oad cell is 100mm) Record ladder locations against the stationary drop frame or other vertical holding device. ‘ApAly pressure untl either the load cell reads round 16kN/G6OOIbs, o: ladder stats twist and bend. at any {ime adition foree is applied but readings either don't change or start to drop, ladder test is to stop. Keep Cable as close to vertical as possible, Looking 1 achieve a downward vertical load, not angular. Measure and record any movement or twist ofthe ladder & brackets or X brace. Inspect ladder rll for any ‘areas of buckling or material separation Keep tension on the line and leave sit for approximately 1Ominutes to see if ladder continues to shift or tis Take photos of setup after load is applied.
