Other Guidelines and Mitigations for COVID-19 (Contractors)
Logistics
1. All materials that delivered from other areas must be disinfected with disinfectants prior to use. Wear hand protection during unboxing of materials.
2. Locate area of isolation for the materials delivered from other areas (provinces, towns and etc.).
3. Wear face mask and long sleeves if someone will be exposed to outside community, maintain social distances and avoid close contact on communicating on
other persons.
4. As much as possible, avoid engaging on crowded places, public establishments that may local transmission of the disease may occur.
5. All equipment, materials and deliverables must be carefully planned and monitored.
6. Delivery zone are identified and limited to selected personnel only (to receiver and deliverer).

Food Management
1. Assigned person who will provide the basic necessities of the team shall required to wear face mask and observe social distancing going to banks, markets,
supermarkets and remittance branches. Personnel must take a bath and sanitize his/her self after exposing on outside community. Avoid direct contact of
hands and fingers to ATM’s, knobs and doors to prevent transmission of the disease.
2. Person shall wear disposable gloves on markets or supermarkets providing their foods to prevent local transmission of the disease. Avoid direct contact on
exchanged money, provide separate container(plastic) and do not secure money directly to pockets.
3. Wash thoroughly all of the items from markets like vegetables, foods and goods before storing it. Ensure all foods are cooked well, avoid eating foods that
are not cooked well. Eat nutritious foods like veggies and fruits that may help on boosting self-immune system.
4. Avoid smoking and drinking liquors to maintain good respiratory health condition preventing disease and/or infection.
5. Avoid sharing of utensils, every person shall have their own utensils. Wash thoroughly all utensils before and after use. Ensure the storage are cleaned
regularly including at the kitchen/dinning section.

Other Guidelines and Mitigations for COVID-19 (Contractors)
Weekly Post Execution of Work
1. COVID-19 focal person to inform the Terminal Operation and Engineering on the Health condition of workers after 1 week completion of work weekly.
2. Report to the Terminal if any one fall ill. Isolate the person and must have 14 days self-quarantine at home.
3. If anyone severely suffers from the symptomatic cases, COVID-19 focal person must call Local Health Authorities for further medical attention and turnover.
4. Once a worker had passed from the self-quarantine within 14 days, a worker must request and provide Quarantine Certification from the Local Health
Authorities as a badge clearance that he/she is safe to resume work.

Rented Houses and Fabrication Areas

1. Good housekeeping practices (5S) must be implemented on bunk/rented houses, rooms and toilets. Safety Officer and Project Supervisor are
the responsible on monitoring cleanliness and regular disinfection of their homes. Observed proper waste management.
2. COVID-19 guidelines/prevention posters form LGU and Shell Health must be posted on their fabrication area and houses.
3. Social distancing must be observed inside the house. Appropriate respiratory etiquette must be observed and avoid close contact
communications and gestures.
4. Implement shifting of taking meals, do not eat together if there are large members of the house. Limit the number of person inside the rooms
with social distance (2-3 person in per room depending on area size). Ensure there is good ventilation inside the rooms and house. If possible,
contractor to look another house if the members are more than ten (10) members per household depending on the area size of the house to avoid
overcrowding inside the house.
5. Avoid sharing of dining utensils (glass, spoons, forks, etc.). Project Supervisor must provide each of them individual utensils to prevent
transmission of disease. Secure it inside a storage/container and sterilized/wash before and after use.

Rented Houses and Fabrication Areas
6. Project Supervisor and Safety Officer to promote a strict house rules to all of his colleagues avoiding them to do some outside activities and whereabouts
including drinking liquors/smoking. Daily routine must be WORK and HOME only to prevent social engagements/exposure outside the community. Do not accept
outsiders/visitors if necessary. Follow LGU mandated curfew hours.
7. Assigned person who will provide basic necessities, like foods and money must comply with the LGU COVID-19 Prevention Program, going to market, bank,
remittances and other establishments. Ensure to wear face mask/PPE outside and take a bath or sanitize themselves after going to markets or supermarkets. All
items from outside must be cleaned properly and disinfected. Eat healthy foods like veggies, fruits to boost immune system and ensure foods are cooked well-
done.
8. Enough supply and availability of soap and/or sanitizers must be present at the toilets, dinning/kitchen area and rooms. All must do hand washing or
sanitation especially after using or taking toilet.
9. Personal face masks must secured inside a Ziplock bags if it is not in use including laundries must be secured properly. All disposable masks that are subjected
for disposal must secured on a separate bags, disinfect with the mixture of sodium hypochlorite and do not put on common waste.
10. Proper hygiene of the members of the house must be monitored by Project Supervisor and Safety Officer. Take a bath 2x a day (morning & before taking a
sleep) if possible.
11. If someone observed with symptomatic cases of COVID-19, Project Supervisor and Safety Officer must report to the Terminal and Local Health Unit and they
are not allowed to work and need to do 14 days of self home quarantine. If there are no Temporary Isolation area within the house, the person will be turned
over to City Health and for further medical attention. Health of the members must be monitored by Safety Officer on daily basis.
12. For the incoming/outgoing personnel from other sites/towns/provinces that has COVID-19 cases, depending on the municipality/city ordinance, the
contractor/person must have a health certification/clearance from the Health Office where he's/she's point of origin ,as a proof that they are not previously
SUSPECTED, PROBABLE or CONFIRMED COVID-19 case from their area of origin.
