Food Management

3. Wash thoroughly all of the items from markets like vegetables, foods and goods before storing it. Ensure all foods are cooked well, avoid eating foods that
are not cooked well. Eat nutritious foods like veggies and fruits that may help on boosting self-immune system.
4. Avoid smoking and drinking liquors to maintain good respiratory health condition preventing disease and/or infection.
5. Avoid sharing of utensils, every person shall have their own utensils. Wash thoroughly all utensils before and after use. Ensure the storage are cleaned
regularly including at the kitchen/dinning section.
1. Good housekeeping practices (5S) must be implemented on bunk/rented houses, rooms and toilets. Safety Officer and Project Supervisor are

3. Social distancing must be observed inside the house. Appropriate respiratory etiquette must be observed and avoid close contact

4. Implement shifting of taking meals, do not eat together if there are large members of the house. Limit the number of person inside the rooms
with social distance (2-3 person in per room depending on area size). Ensure there is good ventilation inside the rooms and house. If possible,

overcrowding inside the house.
5. Avoid sharing of dining utensils (glass, spoons, forks, etc.). Project Supervisor must provide each of them individual utensils to prevent
transmission of disease. Secure it inside a storage/container and sterilized/wash before and after use.

Other Guidelines and Mitigations for COVID-19 (Contractors)

6. Project Supervisor and Safety Officer to promote a strict house rules to all of his colleagues avoiding them to do some outside activities and whereabouts

remittances and other establishments. Ensure to wear face mask/PPE outside and take a bath or sanitize themselves after going to markets or supermarkets. All
items from outside must be cleaned properly and disinfected. Eat healthy foods like veggies, fruits to boost immune system and ensure foods are cooked well-
done.
8. Enough supply and availability of soap and/or sanitizers must be present at the toilets, dinning/kitchen area and rooms. All must do hand washing or
sanitation especially after using or taking toilet.
9. Personal face masks must secured inside a Ziplock bags if it is not in use including laundries must be secured properly. All disposable masks that are subjected
for disposal must secured on a separate bags, disinfect with the mixture of sodium hypochlorite and do not put on common waste.
10. Proper hygiene of the members of the house must be monitored by Project Supervisor and Safety Officer. Take a bath 2x a day (morning & before taking a
sleep) if possible.
11. If someone observed with symptomatic cases of COVID-19, Project Supervisor and Safety Officer must report to the Terminal and Local Health Unit and they
are not allowed to work and need to do 14 days of self home quarantine. If there are no Temporary Isolation area within the house, the person will be turned
over to City Health and for further medical attention. Health of the members must be monitored by Safety Officer on daily basis.
12. For the incoming/outgoing personnel from other sites/towns/provinces that has COVID-19 cases, depending on the municipality/city ordinance, the
contractor/person must have a health certification/clearance from the Health Office where he's/she's point of origin ,as a proof that they are not previously
SUSPECTED, PROBABLE or CONFIRMED COVID-19 case from their area of origin.
