mobiles (all calls) has increased year by year while the local-fixed line has
increased and then fell back. In 1995, local-fixed lines were used to make twice as
many calls as national and international-fixed lines (about 70 billion minutes). At
that time, the cell phone was only used for a short time, so it was only used for its
total duration of only about 3 billion minutes.

Over seven years, the local-fixed lines were used more frequently, up to 90 billion
minutes, but four years later mobile phones became more widely used and
