Online class is not easy but it is bearable, I thank God that I have these gadgets and
a stable internet connection that I need in this new way of learning. Before the
pandemic these things are just wants and now I can say that these became needs
especially for students and teachers.

Gadgets produce radiation that is harmful for the eyes. I started to have poor
eyesight after a month of online class then eyeglasses was recommended to me to
protect my eyes for further damage. This is one of the cons of the new way of
learning but what can I do, this is the only way I can continue my studies.

Since studying requires me to use gadgets I decided to practice calligraphy when I

have free time because it improves my handwriting and it prevents me from using
gadgets. I already started doing calligraphy when I was Grade 12 but I stopped for
several months because of busy schedule and lack of calligraphy materials.

In my college journey as a freshman, I met my teachers and classmates through

social media, google meet or zoom meetings but I can’t meet them all personally
even when I badly want to. Because of COVID-19 I realize I can still continue my
life with the help of my gadgets, and with the faith and hope that all will be okay
soon. I only met new people through the screen but I know we are all under the
same sky and share the same dream.
