Câu 1: Câu bị động dạng cơ bản:

Câu chủ động: S + V + O

Câu bị động: S + be + P2 + (by + O)

Cách làm:

-Bước 1: Xác định các bộ phận của câu chủ động:

S, V, O, trạng từ chỉ thời gian, trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn

-Bước 2: Chuyển từ chủ động sang bị động.

* Lưu ý: + khi nào thì không cần có by + O

+ Vị trí của by + O

Eg: My father bought many facemasks for the Covid patients in Ha Noi last month.

=> Many facemasks were made for the Covid patients in Ha Noi by my father last
month.

Câu 2: Câu gián tiếp:

-Xác định loại câu gián tiếp (câu hỏi, câu trần thuật, lời khuyên, câu đề nghị, mệnh
lệnh, lời cảm ơn…)

- Xác định các bộ phận phải đổi: chủ ngữ, tân ngữ, tính từ sở hữu, đại từ chỉ định,
trạng từ chỉ thời gian/ nơi chốn

Eg: “Do you sometimes play chess with your brother?”, said he to me.

=>He asked me if I sometimes played chess with my brother.

Câu 3: Câu điều kiện

3.1. Câu điều kiện dùng từ nối and

* Lưu ý: Mệnh đề điều kiện đứng trước phải có dấu phảy

Câu 4: Chuyển từ thì quá khứ đơn sang thì hiện tại hoàn thành.

Eg: The last time I saw this movie was 2 years ago.

=>I have not seen this movie for 2 years.

Eg: I visited Ha Noi the last time I had ice-cream.

=> I have not had ice-cream since I visited Ha Noi

Câu 5: Chuyển từ so sánh hơn của tính từ sang so sánh hơn của trạng từ:

1. S + be + a/an + so sánh tính từ + N(chỉ người) + than + S + be/ O

2. S + V + so sánh trạng từ + than + S + trợ ĐT / O

V = N-er/or/ist

Adv = Adj + ly
Câu 6: Chuyển từ Despite/ In spite of sang Although; chuyển từ Because sang
Because of

Despite / In spite of + V-ing/ cụm N/ N

Lưu ý: - Be/ V chia theo thì ở mệnh đề chính

- Có dấu phảy khi câu bắt đầu bằng Although

1. Despite + being… => Although + S + be + ….

Eg: Despite being sick, he went to school

2. Despite + V-ing …=> Although + S + V….

Eg: Despite taking a taxi, he was late for work

=> Although he took a taxi, he was late for work

3. Despite + TT sở hữu + N =>Although+S+ be + Adj

* Lưu ý:

- S2 là chủ ngữ của câu cho trước

- Nếu câu cho trước là thể khẳng định thì viết lại ở thể phủ định và ngược lại, hoặc
có thể dùng từ trái nghĩa để viết.
