Mechanics for AC Advertising Competition

Introduction:
Video advertising encompasses online display advertisements that have video within them,
but it is generally accepted that it refers to advertising that occurs before, during and/or after a video
stream on the internet.

Mechanics:
1. Each year level of the junior high school and each strand of the senior high school must
have 1 representative.
2. Students may use any video editing application or software.
3. All entries must be submitted in digital format.
4. All entries must be submitted on or before November 5, 2021, on a specified g-mail account
to be sent to them.
5. The length of the video should not exceed 180 seconds (3 minutes).
6. All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source.
Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. You DO NOT need to include your
citations in your video. IF CHOSEN AS A WINNER, you must submit a list of your
sources, properly cited.
7. The video presentation should center on the information about the school since this is an
advertisement promoting our institution.
8. The recorded video will be played during the scheduled date and time of the contest proper
while being judged by the judges.

CRITERIA PERCENTAGE
CONTENT CLARITY:
 The content of the video clearly defines the objective and 35%
the aims of the institution to provide quality education.
PURPOSE
 The video clearly identifies a purpose of advertising the 35%
institution.
CREATIVITY
 The content of the video is original and is presented in an 20%
original way.
PRODUCTION
 The video is well planned, with smooth transitions and
edits. Sound is excellently balanced and easy to hear. All 10%
elements support the message.
